I take it you are well away from major power line's, electrified train track's and other sources of major EM field's then, fine and I do also see your point, it is valid.

As for the poster neither I nor you have enough detail to decide if they need help of the kind you envisage that being psychiatry and I do stand by Murgetroid on his general appraisal of the field of psychiatry, it is however improving and that has to be said with most psychiatrists themselves regarding old Sigmund as a devient and not normal.

Some whom post on this site DO need help that is a matter of fact and ATS has had everything from people considering Suicide to people whos posts are so erratic they are either on some substance or else mentally in a state so different to the rest of us that they do need help but is a psychiatrist always the way to go.

Now if you research the subject matter some more you will find shared physical and psychological symptom's in many of those whom claim to be victim's, they also sound very much like text book psychosis or schizophrenia but what and I must ask you this, What if they are actually induced states of illness caused by deliberate testing.

For instance instead of voices in there head many of these victim's hear what they say sound like actual voices, tinitus is another effect with high pitched whining in the ears and tingling, burning sensation and even throbbing in the extremitys and genitalia being shared symptoms' of many whom have suffered this and of course these can actually end up with the victims having nervous breakdown's and other mental illness as a result but given the data is it induced or rather CAN IT BE induced as the answer may be one and the same thing to both of these question's.

According to Jesse Ventura in his team's research and that of others' the answer is YES it can be and has been induced and it can be also Targeted at individual's but why, well I for one can not envisage a human being doing this but if the network is in place a probably mindless computer system is the most likely culprit and that would mean it's programmers have a lot to answer for if they are even still alive? and have not been silenced.

Also how far are you from the nearest local transmitter, it sound's like you have your own power as a backup so are well off in the stick's, nice I envy you but inconvenient for the shop's.

I find the thread authors post to be in line with what other's have claimed and he/she seem's quite intelligent in there post as well as aware of the world around them, hardly the symptom's of a psycho-delusional state of mind and I have edited this reply to be in line with that appraisal on my part.

If you really believe this then I'm not sure you've ever known somebody with a legitimately severe mental illness.

Au contraire mon frère.

My advice is based on far more than just YouTube videos, it is based on direct experience as well.

I was married to a Schizoaffective and my experience taught me things that you will never find in any book...

This experience drove me to spend months researching this topic.

You say that you are convinced beyond a "shadow of a doubt", well "Surprise Surprise!", so am I.

I'm not trying to be crass BTW, I am simply stating a fact, I will not usually make a statement unless I am confident that it is true.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't doubt your sincerity for a second, but the thing is, we can't both be right.

You mentioned that mental illness is real, sad, scary, and ruins lives and you are mostly right.

My own personal experience confirmed all of those except for one.

I came to the same exact conclusion as Dr. Schaler did years before I had ever heard of him...

I can assure you that Dr. Schaler's conclusions about Psychiatry have absolutely NOTHING to do with YouTube videos or agenda driven assumptions.

You mentioned that psychiatry and drugs can help patients, and I DO understand exactly what you are talking about.

I saw the results in my wife on a daily basis and our experience 100% contradicts every thing you've said.

For anyone else who might be interested in studying this further here is another post on this.

Psychiatry is a total complete FRAUD...

I honestly think that those who keep telling others to seek professional help are actually the ones who may actually NEED it the most. That is probably some of THE most dangerous advice anyone can give. The 'mentally ill' card is nothing more than a tool used for political purposes to silence and suppress the masses who openly express beliefs that contradict official dogma...

So what if someone whom is a non-diagnosed schizophrenic, starts hearing voices that essentially tell him that he is being harmed and in response should harm other people? Should we just ignore that person and deprive them of mental healthcare simply because you find mental health to be a part of some conspiracy? Way to over generalize an entire field and it's members as fraudulent.

Should we just ignore them? absolutely NO...

Those schizophrenic voices my wife heard destroyed my marriage and cost me everything.

The multitude of drugs they put her on were the equivalent of throwing gasoline on a raging inferno.

If you honestly believe that mental health is NOT part of "some conspiracy", well good luck with that...

I am near power lines due large wind power sources near me. Doesn't matter as I have lived near much more potent sources and they don't seem to effect me, that certainly doesn't mean nobody is and I don't want to imply that. But you are correct that none of us has enough information to make an informed decision at this point and given the absence of more information the most common answer is the most likely. I'm not going to say psychiatry is in a great place, but without more information it would be a good direction to resolving a feeling of persecution.

Intelligence, eloquence, and awareness of surroundings, are not effective barometers of mental health. I know people with IQ ranges in the 145-155 range that can easily convince people that don't know them that they're fine. I'd venture a guess that those traits actually make it easy to seem fine.

We also have to be honest that the bar is low when dealing with a few paragraphs anonymously posted on an internet forum. My main point is that it's dangerous to feed ideas and feelings that are questionable. Were we discussing this after an OP that was proposing an idea it was possible, rather than on outright claim it was happening to them, I might see more leeway in feeding conspiracy theories. As it stands we typically only see alleged victims discuss it. It never seems to be a spouse, friend, or neighbor, that also notices odd things going on.

There should be no stigma attached to mental illness. There is nothing wrong with seeking help and I don't think it's something that should be discouraged.

I'm sorry for whatever happened to you and there are plenty of bad doctors out there, like many fields. There are also of things that simply can't be cured.

We can't both be right, but I'm not advocating for an absolute. I by no means say that psychiatry and psychiatric drugs are well understood, but you are taking an absolute stance that it's a fraud. It's the same absolute as if I said it's all true and works as intended. No good psychiatrist is going to tell you that they know everything about how the drugs work or how the brain works.

That fact is some illness can't be treated by any means with the knowledge we have available. If you know somebody that died from an auto accident or was severely impaired from a congenital deformity would you claim that surgery is a fraud based simply on that? It doesn't make sense. Limitations in treatment do not equate with fraud. You clearly had a bad experience. Nobody would deny that based on what you've said. Would you deny somebody successful treatment because of your experience? The baby is still in the bathwater here.

Dear new OP.....cloth faraday cage type material is available for making garments out of
(or perhaps a faraday tent etc.....)
They actually sell premade hats for those who wish to purchase them ready made.......
This cloth has a copper mesh infused in it.....
You can construct your own copper wire net to put over your head for experiment even....if it works for you, then do what comes naturally......good luck with that....

Have you ever notices how suddenly peaceful you feel, how your physical energy seem's to come back when there is a power cut and your local power grid goes down, that is because of the ambient electrical field's in your home suddenly no longer interferring with your own body's much weaker electrical signal's.

No.
Have you ever stepped back and considered maybe you're just high-strung? Dude, I've lived without power after hurricanes for as long as 2 weeks in the middle of blazing hot summers. I'm not "peaceful" sweating buckets in the heat. I'd say explain that not matching your claim, but never mind, I've no patience for harebrained today.

And let's knock this one out of the park before you repeat the question:

2 blocks from tracks for 7 years, under major power lines in other locales, 2 blocks from tracks as I type, and a few blocks in the opposite direction -- major power lines. If the power cuts out up here, I'm hurriedly doing as Ksihkehe regarding creating a heat source.

If you find your happy place without modern power, so be it. It doesn't mean it's a conspiracy if you're incapable of relaxing otherwise.
