I haven't checked for multiple anti-virus/malware software...didn't think of that. I will, shortly.

*brain fart moment* but what is the "bsod" that I'm possibly taking a photo of?

I've tried removing the video driver (but the comp shuts down before I can do it). This may be a lost cause but I've decided to persist a little longer.

Sorry. bsod=blue screen of death, the one that shows when it crashes

I have the bat, but the desktop is hubby's (and the laptop is mine). If I toast it (before I can buy another one)... I have to suffer him giving me stink-eye while I play on mine!
