Right

The only crusade here is your crusade desperately trying to vindicate the racist beliefs of some of Trump's supporters 😂

Wrong again, you're not very good at this are you? I am pointing out the subtle push by leftist media propaganda to collectively label all Trump supporters as racists - you are simply interpreting this to suit your pre-conceived narrative that I am somehow supporting racists. Nothing could be further from the truth - you know that as well.

But, like I said, carry on, don't let my opinion get in the way of your take on it.

I think trying to define Trump's supporters is difficult when he's getting a large cross section of support. He's getting support from evangelicals even after all the bullying, name calling, degrading women, the use of vulgarity, and even after he's attacked the Pope! I mean, doesn't this go against what good Christian evangelicals preach? You would think they would be attacking his behavior and support a different candidate.

I think most are just mad as hell at the system and they just want someone in office to shake it up. I think it's a dangerous gamble. I just don't think he has the temperament nor the intelligence and knowledge when it comes to the issues.

What I do like about Trump, is he's not afraid to bring up issues about 9/11, the 28 page classified documents, and Bush's
failures. Something the establishment candidates, and the media have avoided at all costs. I find it odd the media dropped the discussion of the 28 page classified report considering it may have an impact if the U.S. continues to consider Saudi Arabia an ally.

If that is what they are trying to do then they are doing a bad job of it. Like this poll, it doesn't look like they are trying to label ALL of Trump supporters as racists to me, but it does look like they are labeling approximately 30% of them as racists.

30% = all?

Wow ok.

i was on a trump thread about a month ago, i swear to gods someone said slave owners werent that bad because they didnt beat their slaves, followed by a long discussion where i had to explain why slavery is bad. there is a correlation between xenophobia, racism, and the christian right. there is absolutely no doubt about that.

it was the bible that was used to justify slavery, it was the bible that oppressed gays for so long, i dont see any liberals demanding for a wall or the banning of gays or brown people. everyone knows what trump supporters want, its also very clear what the major demographic of trump supporters are, conservative white men.

If electing a douchbag was going to make "America great again"

we surely missed the boat by not electing Andrew Dice Clay in the late 80's.

From the PPP poll, some interesting info missing from the article:

Public Policy Polling surveyed 897 likely Republican primary voters and 525 Democratic
primary voters on February 14th and 15th.

This is all we need to know about this entire thread. Trump haters, please continue to flail around about false stats made up by a liberal rag. It very amusing to me when your kind display such ignorance and your instinct to be offended. You are the group of people that trolls live for.

PS-Where are the same numbers for Hillary supporters?

Nobody knows who that is. The people want a nimble navigator. That is why they vote Trump!

Lol! Is the fact the communist party supporting Sanders supposed to be scary or something? I mean, I guess since American commies support him it must be bad, right? Socialism bad, racism ok. Gotcha!

Goldman Sachs also supports all the GOP candidates, well maybe excluding Trump but he's apart of that very establishment, you know the elites.

Meanwhile, Neo Nazis support Trump openly. I guess Goldman Sachs is worse than the Nazis lol

if Hillary ever said lets ban muslims, lets ban gay marriage, lets build a wall, lets lower estate taxes, lets ban abortion, she would be out of the race. its called an equivocation fallacy to say yea, trump is bad but x person is also bad.

I think you would need different unpopular questions but every candidate no doubt has people who support them who hold unpopular views. Except those with very little support at all like Jeb! Though now I think about it maybe some questions about the Iraq war and his bro would reveal some unpopular views even in his very limited and now non-existent support base.

When did I ever say racism was okay?

When?

If you are going to start implying that I am racist, then that really says more about you than it does about me.

But go ahead, please. Your intolerance already speaks volumes about you.

Please explain with data, as to why the stats are false. Did you read the surveys/polls linked?

Just read though the thread, others have already pointed out the misleading presentation of the data and the discrepancies in the numbers. More importantly however, do you think these numbers will affect how many people are supporting Trump?

Public Policy Polling is a company aligned with the Democratic Party, and some of its results over the years have been suspected of bias.

I had a whole essay written out...

I won't bother...

I'll just say people won't shut up anymore and just tolerate bigotry in 2016.

Get over it.
what is being pointed out is that you guys come off as very hateful and intolerant. You seem to beleive your hate and intolerance has a special pass.

No DBC, you have that backwards. It is not saying that all Trump supporters are racist. The article points out that many racists support Trump.

That is not the same thing in the least, otherwise the statistics would have read that 100% of Trump supporters surveyed, harbour racist views.

I'm not gonna judge their intolerance, but I just find it a bit weird that when trump says he loves the "poorly educated" his supporters cheer like its something to strive for and be proud of. Wtf is that all about. It's like a comedy sketch.

33% want to ban gays from entering the country
33% think the Japanese interment was a good thing.
31% think whites are a superior race
70% want the Confederate flag back
and here's the kicker 20% disagree with the Emancipation Proclamation.

It is polls, so takem as you will.

A good example of selective data. Would there have been a difference if these very same questions were asked of Rubio and Cruz supporters? We don't know because that data was apparently not gathered. SC is a very conservative state with lots of evangelicals. I would expect that demographic to have those kinds of views.

I do believe that this kind of trash-talk will be liberally used against Trump in the coming months. The Dems will automatically call whomever gets the GOP nomination stupid and racist. It's just how they roll.

Exactly right. You ask the questions and also who the person is voting for and then you compare the answers and create indices by candidate to understand this. Not enough of this in the data, therefore it is pretty meaningless.
