Quick question about where we land

I wasn't even sure how to word this. When I click on the name of the last poster in a thread it used to take me to the last post. It now takes me to the top of the last page of the thread. I have tried this on multiple different desktops and also on my phone and get the same results. I know it doesn't take much to scroll down but just thought I would let you know that this is broken.

I've noticed this also.

The old system was certainly causing one issue, in that it appeared to be set for the point after the post you were looking for. If the last post happened to be at the bottom of the page, we would find ourselves at the top of a blank "following" page.
I surmise that this is the problem they are trying to fix.

It's still doing the above for me.

Skeptic Overlord is in the middle of making a lot of changes to the site, so it isn't surprising the something as small as this issue (which I've also noticed) comes about. It's definitely good to notify him about it though, thanks for making the topic.

Interesting, because I've had what the OP described for a couple of days now. Perhaps it affects some browsers and not others.

I too am having this issue.

I knew they were doing some work on the site, so I haven't said anything, just figuring it will be back to working again in a few days.

I noticed things were quirky too. I'm sure it will be worked out soon enough. Glad I wasn't the only one! LOL

I'm on work's iPhone. Plus I just realised I was clicking on a reply via the messages tab if that makes sense.

Intriguing. I wonder if doing it that way is what makes a difference to the effect.
It's worth noticing, because it might make the experts say "Aha!".

this issue is bugging me too - win 7 and chrome if thats relevant [ but other sites are working fine with " jump to last post " ]

I still land at the top page

Good! It's not just me then. Do you also have it where you check your replies and instead of taking it to the comment somebody left for you, it either takes you to the page after (if the comment was the last of the previous page) or just a random place on the page so you have to search for it?
