With the knife and rope I can make fire with a Bow Drill, Purify the water in the pot by boiling and the tarp for shelter.

Rules of 3

3 hours without shelter
3 days without water
3 weeks without food

I can also make fish and game traps with the rope and knife.

All my needs would be met..

Ok 4 items....compass, rope, matches,knife.....

If i could have my other 2 items i would take the weed and the inflatable and pretend i was on holidays

Pot knife first aid kit and matches...

The pot for gathering and purification of water.

The knife for gathering wood making tools to hunt and cook with and prepare kills....And building a shelter...

The first aid kit for its numerous supplies with a multitude of uses. One of the most important would be to also have a place to store the matches and some material to be kept dry for starting fires...
Should be able to make something to fish with from what is provided for stitches for an additional example...

Posting before reading other replies.

1. Mirror

There isn't many things better to signal search aircraft.

2. Knife

Self explanatory, has too many uses to list.

3. Rope.

Another too many uses to list, but a must in a survival situation.

4. Compass

This is dependant on how big the island is, if you could walk around it in a day then probably useless and would replace with the water purifier.

With the rope, I can make fishing line by unraveling the rope. Hopefully, it would be paracord. Some come with fishing line embedded.
Tarp for shelter or/or catching rain or dew.
Pot for cooking and purifying water.
Knife, well...Every one should always have a good pocket knife with them.

Im curious on why you people takes a tarp for shelter when there is a tent

Tempted to go for the volley ball, what if a team of female volleyball players also got stranded, be great to have something to do with them

Hand saw --> strong shelter
Pot --> durable for making food and hold water
Fishing rod if this comes with string + hooks
... if not, then First Aid Kit - maybe question of life and death, because here are the things inside one cannot make yourself

No need mirrors or boats or compasses, plannin' stay forever :0)

1st - boot, so you can go everiwere, run in the forest for hunting, on the shores for fishing/get shells, without damages etc..
2nd - knife, c'mon what kind of life will be without?!
3rd - rope, can be useful in few ways..

i'm not sure about 4th:
has weed som seed (not too many I hope)?
first aid kit, you never know...
pot, for water and soups...
