Ansar al-Sunna executes drug dealer in Iraq

IRAQI militant group Army of Ansar al-Sunna said it killed what it called a drug dealer in the northern city of Mosul and posted a video of the shooting on its website today.

The video showed a man standing in front of a banner bearing the group's name and holding packets of pills in his hands.

"My name is Hussein Ali Hussein, also known as Hussein Haya, and I sell narcotics," the man said before he was blindfolded and shot in the back of the head.

Perhaps they could send Ansar al-Sunna to Afghanistan.
They could get rid of the heroin problem as effectively as the Taliban did.

The guy in the video looked either strung out or really scared, I couldn't tell which but it was probably both.

I have a copy of the video and even though it's not as graphic as some of the past executions, I'll refrain from posting it.

Mmm....Maybe the US should adopt the same policy on drugs? We can only hope..

I've read recent articles that suggest that al Qaeda is being funded in no small amount from proceeds from the Afghan poppy fields. So maybe if Ansar al-Sunna went there, we could pit them against each other and kill two birds with one stone.
