Initial reports are notoriously innaccurate.

For example, the san bernardino muslim terrorist shooting started with the description of the shooters being three white males.

I'm tempted to go down Stadium Drive/9th street right now, but naaw, prolly shouldn't.

Ambulance just flew past my house. This one-way street is a frequent use for emergency vehicles. I'm guessing it's still breaking.

I agree, but there's still a need for proper justice. Chances are this scum wouldn't last long in jail because of that anyway.

The conflicting reports on the vehicle don't surprise me. Between the facts that it's night (hard to see details, especially in a commotion) and there's a big bar scene out there (in part due to Western Michigan University, in part due to breweries) you're going to wind up with some discrepancies and unreliable witnesses.

I've mistaken my own neighbor's gray truck for other makes & colors in passing glances. Don't toss the baby out with the bathwater just because you assume everyone should have a photographic memory on demand.
