BORIS Johnson has been ordered "never to back down" as Brexit trade deal talks with the EU entered a crunch week.

Brexiteers warned the Prime Minister that any compromise on key sticking points such as fishing rights in order to get a trade deal ratified before the December 31 deadline simply wouldn't allow for a "clean Brexit".

Yeah but Cummings is gone now, Boris is off his leash. He was never really for Brexit anyway. This could get interesting.

Now we await the detail. Bit I cant help but think that is we had played hard ball from day one we would have even a better trade deal and this would have been sorted sooner. Long live BREXIT and good bye to the EU Cabal!

BREXIT finally complete.

Free from all EU involvement in our laws.
Free trade
Free to make bilateral deals with other countries.

We got almost everything we wanted.
Great day for GREAT BRITAIN!

The devil is in the detail as they say!
We are not 'Scot Free' as the saying goes.

I share your cautious scepticism Jane - I was tempted to say cautious optimism, but I struggle to be optimistic about anything that Boris Johnson is involved with.

Lets wait till we can examine the details before we pass judgement on it.

There are those that will hail it a great deal for the UK and those who will call it a bad deal without studying the content.
I think its far too important a document to allow pre-conceived notions to cloud one's judgement.
