Awww... Nola is very sweet.

You've heard the saying, "Walk softly and carry a big yellow, rubber stick." This was at 5 AM...

And here's Focus, just chillin', which he doesn't often do.

She is a big mush and she loves therapy.

He is a really good looking dog. How is he getting along with everyone else?

It's getting better every day. He and Jaia actually played together a little yesterday. I kept telling Jaia "easy" and he was so good!

Some pictures from this morning. We're teaching Focus to fetch and he thinks he has to launch himself off the end of the patio. He always takes a flying leap! It's SO funny! I laughed so hard when I saw these pictures!

"So... You don't think this is YOUR ball, do you"?

The "Launch"

Airborne!!!

"I got it Mom"!

"Here I come"! (Look at his EARS! They're starting to stand up already!)

You're so right!

In the "launch" photo, he looks like an Ewok!

Been a busy (but calm, mellow and relaxed) Mom lately... I think it's been about a month since I've been on ATS.

Anyway, the puppy's name is "Shade". Focus just didn't work for us. He's 14 weeks old, adorable and brilliant!

Don't know why my avatar is repeating...

Shade is amazing adorable! Thanks for the update, one of my favorite threads.

Your avatar is repeating due to a site update. Now you can have a longer avatar but it's a bit tricky to do on your own. Here's the place to go to have it fixed in a very cool way:

I am in love.
I want to squish Shade and bury my face in his fury neck, and steal his soft ears and keep them in my pocket.
Thank you for the pics!!!!! There are never enough

Shade was 16 weeks old on Tuesday. Here he is training with his 'dad' and chillin' on the porch after playing in the pool.

Just beautiful.

Does he like to be brushed?

I love the way he is looking up at Dad, listening and waiting for his next command.

At first, he just wanted to eat the brush (and everything else), but I noticed right away that he loved belly rubs, so I used the clicker and reintroduced the brush as a "belly-rubbing tool" and he ate that right up! I eventually moved to touching the brush to his back, legs and head and now, he LOVES being brushed. It's a good thing, too, because his life (and mine) are going to be filled with brushing! LOL!

I missed that you changed his name. I like Shade. Not exactly UriNader but still a cool name.

He's getting big.

There's only the one furry sibling, Jaia. And Shade thinks he's the best chew toy around, so until he learns how to respect Jaia, we are supervising their interactions. It's going very well.

AM, I can't believe how much he's growing! I hope he's not a giant!

I was looking at his forepaws and they look huge. He's like a lumberjack dog or something. Has he been hitting the gym while you're at work?
