THEORY (REFUTABLE AS ALL THEORY, THEY ARE ADMITTED YOU CRITICIZE):
I believe that the American natives previous to the arrival of the Europeans knew the diamonds very well and although they were not able to carve them
neither to polish them appropriately and therefore they didn't appreciate them as gems if they knew how to use them as tools. This would be the
explanation of some of those "mysteries" of the old American civilizations, like the perfection of the carve of big stones to build cities and
temples. Those cultures of which it has been said that they could not have built such or which since monument lacked of the knowledge of the such hard
metals as the iron, steel, and still of the brass, etc. would have perfected the use of rough diamonds as tools so without having entered to the "age
of the iron" or "of the metals" they were already in the "age of the diamond."
