Danish officials have requested the police examine a 'powder' that was received within the P.M. office. Police have ordered the building be evacuated and the ventilation to the building be turned off.

"The police are now examining some white powder we received today in the prime minister's office," a spokesman from the office said.

Officials at the Danish parliament said police had requested that the entire building, which includes the prime minister's office, be cordoned off and the internal ventilation system be shut down.

Denmark's Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen is a staunch US ally and the Nordic country has more than 500 troops in Iraq.

That powder turned out to be harmless. Some lab in Sweden found the stuff harmless and called off the alarm. A 35 year old "crazy" woman did it "by mistake" because voices in her head told her to do so. She says she "regret doing it" now and she "didn´t think it would have such consequence". She´s been arrested and is now being mentaly examined.
