Oh good hell.
You like compassion in the form of Govt taking from some and giving to others. I have compassion in my own form.
There is the difference, you need someone, a Govt authority, to make these decisions for you. Thus, you want others to have the same. But, not so much force as to take from you the same percent as those that you deem as having too much.
And this has little to do with the self-sufficient straw-man argument you pitch.
This has to do with what I stated above.
An Army of one....interesting.
Guess I will never see such greatness *sigh*, but I guess military life isn't for me.......
You do find the irony in military members taking care of each other, as in brothers and not expecting outsiders to pitch in or even understand.

Good afternoon ATSers
I've been reading a lot of post about confusion over why so many American's like Bernie. Really I don't understand why this is so hard to understand. It's as easy as taking a look at every other candidate, whether Dem or GOP. EVERY single POTUS candidate is a lying, oxygen stealing, bought and paid for puppet; people are getting sick of it.

So does that mean you're not familiar with any of his policies and plans and ideas then? You just heard the word socialist and reacted as your programming says you must? We've been talking about one for 11 pages.
*smirks* but enjoy your lofty high ground where I wouldn't spoon feed you information you already know because you can't come up with a coherent argument that we're trying to usurp the constitution. Because we're not.
Bernie Sanders: To Rein In Wall Street, Fix the Fed
By BERNIE SANDERS DEC. 23, 2015

If I were elected president, the foxes would no longer guard the henhouse. To ensure the safety and soundness of our banking system, we need to fundamentally restructure the Fed’s governance system to eliminate conflicts of interest. Board members should be nominated by the president and chosen by the Senate. Banking industry executives must no longer be allowed to serve on the Fed’s boards and to handpick its members and staff. Board positions should instead include representatives from all walks of life — including labor, consumers, homeowners, urban residents, farmers and small businesses.

Well, if we base it off wealth, and $500,000 is equivalent to say, level 40, then Trump would be... Level 320,000. =)
You can all blame yourselves for what is happening now. Young people have been taught that in this world there are the "winners" and "losers", and have come to realise that by default they are "losers" and becoming a "winner" is essentially a dice roll that they can only mildly influence at best, so they want to break the system. Because the system is rigged. Because the system is stupid. And no, I don't mean making America Communist like you'll probably assume.
I personally, and I believe I speak for most others here as well, couldn't give a rats ass about your seventy year old retiree with a net worth of 1.2 million.

Kids born 20 years ago do not have the same exact opportunities as a 50 year old did 30 years ago. Something needs to be done to tip the economy in favor of small business owners and decent politicians.... I'm not saying I know what that something is.

Here's why so many people like Bernie: Low-information voters who have little understanding of economics, entitlement brat generation that thinks everything should be handed to them and that hard work is a thing of the past.
