So.....is it safe to say that a couple dumb @ss journalism students were filming a (fill in the blank here) video, and onlookers called 911??

Either that or passerby's with an over active imagination and a lack of common sense.

With as many campus shootings as we've had?

Really?

The lack of sense belongs to the journalism students.

Where was their permits?

Where is their notification "letter" that they would be filming a scene with guns?

Yep! Dumb @ss.

Just to add to the dumbassery here, there was also a major outdoor expo on the ASU Jonesboro campus this weekend, too. So not only did they apparently fail to notify the campus police, they were also doing this at a time when there were a large number of visitors on campus. The Convocation Center where the outdoor expo was being held and the Student Union building where this incident occurred are only about 300 yards apart, too.
