I love that right-wingers think that using Obama's full name makes some sort of profound statement. LOL.

Actually, I'd love to see him appoint Bill Clinton, and then Hillary can appoint Obama when she's elected if someone else dies or steps down in the next 8 years ... LOL.

What a way that would be to take Hillary out of the race. Appoint Hillary, tie up congress in the nomination process, drop her out of the race, and then let Sanders run unopposed, while also being given a very clear distinction between himself and Obama on policy.

Good one!

There are just all sorts of Nightmare Scenarios for the Republicans in Twilight, aren't there ...

Oops, there's another tear.

Frak! They are showing his comments on Citizens United right now on CNN. I forgot about that BS.

It's a whole new game now.

As far as who I think Obama SHOULD appoint? Oh, that's easy.

Find a stalwart and long-term INDEPENDENT someone who is NOT either a Republican or a Democrat, but an accomplished brilliant JURIST.

The Supreme Court was not intended to be political. There are no political parties written into the Constitution, for a reason.

He does have a point.

When it comes to spending money.

Americans spend the least on politics compared to everything else.

Porn is a multi billion dollar industry.

We spend more on cell phones, homes, and a slew of everything else.

Hey, here's another great idea ... I heard that Kucinich just suggested that Obama appoint Elizabeth Warren ...

Damn, are you trying to give our Right-Wing friends a heart attack?

It's bad enough that the echo chamber is exploding online and on TV over this Scalia issue, but your just throwing "salt in the wound" for the laughs.

Well played, sir.

This is a stretch, even for you Neo.

Porn is a multi billion dollar industry...you realize that's the most inept analogy you could have possibly used right?

Seems like neither you or Scalia understood the question.

and would the republican congress accept such a nominee? someone with no loyalty to anything but truth and justice? I highly doubt it. but, I also question weather obama would nominate such a person also. too bad, because you are right, any justice that would allow politics into their decisions isn't worthy of the seat.

Just how is that a stretch ?

Takes 1 billion to buy the presidency.

We have over a 13 trillion dollar economy.

Where's the 'stretch' ?

Don't get fooled by Warren she is a progressive, I know she support some issues that people love, but she is a progressive, under progressives the constitution is in danger.

Well, perhaps Obama can finally find someone who isn't pulling our nation backwards and the SCOTUS can begin to correctly represent our own liberal-leaning populace (certainly true on social issues). But Obama, in his general center-rightness, usually leaves me in a bleak, yet somehow still hopeful position. Gonna be interesting!

The question is obviously addressing large sums of money from minimal sources & their political control, not the general populations spending towards political campaigns. You're arguing something totally different, & Bernies (supposedly) many donations makes it seem like more people are trying to get involved instead of spending on porn.

Yes my fellow Americans hate me not because I'm part cherokee.

But because I am a 'right' winger.
