He is a good man with terrible ideas.

What we have is bad. What he proposes is worse.

There is no one to vote for in 2016.

Being totally ruled by crony capitalist isn't my idea of freedom and liberty. It's more like a fascist oligarchy tyranny imo.

Throwing around "socialist BS" isn't going to change anyone's mind. It's a numbers game now....place your bets.

I'll take socialism over a religo fascist like Cruz any day!!

Sorry.

I didn't mean to imply that YOU wanted socialism. What I meant to say was that that the "people", the Bernie-ites, the Obama-ites, the socialists, want socialism.

I've experienced it also.

That's why I am far more comfortable with the idea of self-reliance and personal responsibility.

But we are a nation who can vote ourselves into slavery if we so choose.

You're right, it has nothing to do with rampant corruption within politics or capitalist corporations paying for our presidents and politicians, it has nothing to do with these paid politicians passing bills written by those same capitalist corporations who bought them in order to pad their bottom lines.

No, it has to do with socialist policies that allow our roads to be maintained, our children to be educated, our teachers to be paid, our libraries to run properly, our fire departments and police force to be maintained, and to help those who fall on hard times, etc.

No, those capitalist oligarchs who run the mega corporations and buy our government have nothing to do with the failures of the West. They're doing just fine, that's probably why they want to keep the current system and employ propaganda against other economic options.

Socialist government policies are why Western Capitalism has problems.

Simple as that.

Crystal Clear.

Simple as that,,,for the simple minded.

As clear as mud.

Capitalistic oligarchs want nothing to do with socialism because that means giving some of their salaries to those less fortunate than them.

They want to maximize their profits, that's the foundation of capitalism, to make as much profit as possible. They're just playing the capitalistic game a little dirtier than others. But hey, it's fair game when you're maximizing your bottom line, capitalism encourages it.

Not to be rude, but do you have a problem with the public fire department?

Police?
Public libraries?
Sewer waste removal?
Military?
Snow removal?
Highways/Interstates?
Court systems?
Social Security?
Public schools?
Jail/prison system?
Business subsidies?

Face the music, socialism has existed in America for decades and the American populace at large hasn't given a damn regarding it. It's just a damn shame that mere cents in taxes go towards education as opposed to roughly $0.30 of every $1 goes towards military.

He would completely destroy or re-write the Consitution...

Because Presidents can completely do that, right? My goodness...

All I can say is...

The right wingers better get a platform together and heal the fractured GOP or the lefty's are going to roll right over you.

Trump can't do it. Without minorities and women he's DOA. And with that stupid hair; how can anyone take him seriously? He's like a cartoon come to life.

Socialism ALWAYS destroys a nation and enslaves it's people

I've been to socialist countries, like Spain, that are great places. Cuba is not socialism, it's a dictatorship.

I think you are off on several points. First of all, the Fed and "Feds" are two different things. One controls the money supply and the other is all government, but assuming you meant the Fed then yes, I wouldn't mind some more control of them since they are supposed to be there to serve us.

First of all, that was a minor error. Second of all, by Sanders being the one to nominate who will run the Fed, he is going completely against the United States Constitution.

The making of the Fed itself was unconstitutional to begin with. But Sanders wants to have it under his control which is even worse.

The part about only loaning to small and medium business most likely means government loans through the small business administration and other government entities, not the government running every single business like you seem to think.

Really? he is obviously stating that under socialism all businesses will be controlled. How else could he enforce which businesses would get loans?...

The getting rid of private property part is just fantasy paranoia on your part, not supported by anything, unless you mean not letting a few people own everything. If that is what you mean then that would mean more ownership by the rest of us actually, not less, since everything won't be locked up in a few hands.

It is neither fantasy, nor paranoia... Under socialism all means of production is owned and controlled by the State. Meaning all farms, and industry businesses will be owned/controlled by the State.

And the most important part is Bernie wouldn't be able to get 95% of his platform through congress, maybe some banking reform and that's about it, so why you're so paranoid is beyond me.

He is going around Congress when he wants to give himself the power to nominate who controls the Fed... The United States Constitution says that only Congress can issue coin, and regulate it's value. Under Sanders he will control it through his thugs which he will nominate.

It doesn't matter.

Attempting to differentiate between the two is about as promising as attempting to explain how to build and read a quad-parallel on a Herakles to a ninety five year old woman.

It just isn't going to work, and it's absolutely hilarious.

If Socialism and Communism "are essentially the same," then abiding by this same logic, it's safe to say the "Auto and Semi-Auto are essentially the same thing."

Which we all know isn't true, by the way. I was talking about Socialism/Communism, by the way. Semi-auto and auto are basically the same thing.

(See how this works?)

Boy o Boy its just the same nonsense all over again isn't it.

You've been saying the world will end because Obama is a socialist since he took office.

You right wing nuts need to figure out new material.. the old play book is getting old.

Uh no. It doesn't work that way. Congress has to approve his nominations. All of them.

I don't like the idea of total socialism, nor total capitalism. We are currently a mixed economy and I think that needs to be tweaked and fine tuned. I do believe that any monetary system is doomed to fail, however, and it is simply a matter of postponing the inevitable doom as long as possible.
