i think its about time for the public to start making their own laws if police are not responding "because they all look the same"

be good to see some new neighbourhood watch groups to help protect the streets with basic defence weapons, (baseballs bats etc) only to defend people being attacked or under threat. nothing more.

This is being allowed because a majority of the people insist on it.
I don't think there is a conspiracy here (as in, the government must have pressure on it from some outside source to be allowing this). Sarcozy did not want to let this go on, and he became very unpopular. The french culture is still very left leaning, from an american point of view, anyway.

It is currently seen as politcally incorrect to speak about the immigrants. From what I can tell, there is the hope that with the effort to diffuse them to various parts of France, separate them a bit, give them all they need, they will settle down and integrate. The sheer numbers are daunting , so there is this weird anxious silence - don't complain, just keep up the effort... like trying to empty a sinking ship with a paper cup.

Last week, they placed many in my little town. One day, I went to the store and was surrounded by muslims and black africans. I guess the government took the two hotels here and used them to house the people. But I also see they are placed in many apartments in the village.

There are much more women and children than men, and probably more black people than middle eastern (contrary to the idea american media tends to send out). That may just be that they are choosing to house non-muslims, women and children first.

Rcently they decided to give these immigrants an apartment, plus 1000 euros a day to live, each. Considering the numbers of these people, I have no idea how we're supposed to handle that load (those of us who are working and paying for that).
Considering we already have a problem with unemployment as well...I wonder if these people will ever be able to get a job and support themselves.
But nobody is complaining about this, it is socially unacceptable and you'd be accused of being a nazi if you did.

Sometimes I wonder if the situation in Calais isn't also being allowed because they WANT these people to get over to England and be their problem instead.

Yes, I know, it SEEMS to be a (right wing) American vlogger that posts this nonsense. The poor guy probably isn't even aware how he is now just another peon in the Russian propaganda machinery. But it does not take much to see through the real reason that we recently are being swamped - on this forum, but also in the EU media and elsewhere - by a constant trickle of racist, anti-EU messages. Mostly from the same sources, sometimes obvious Russian ones (e.g.RT) and always consisting of outright lies about or total exaggerations of the actual situation in Europe. In the end the EU citizens are manipulated into believing this rubbish, and the became unwillingly pro-Russian propagandists themselves. And without much costs, the Russian propaganda machine has already weakened the EU. Chapeau СМЕРШ!

See, the Russians do not like it much that they have a strong and wealthy neighbour - the EU - which consumes ever more former Soviet territory. They already lost all of their former influence in Eastern Europe to the EU - and now Ukraine may eventually become part of the EU. No wonder the Russians do anything to influence public opinion to turn against the EU. But they are clever, they would not risk waging a war against the EU. Instead the choose to employ the same tacticts they (and the Americans too) succesfully employed during the cold war: cheap, effective propaganda.

The Russians want a weak Europe, a Europe divided into quarreling nations, a Europe with strict border control - all that would weaken the largest economy in the world beyond repair. They want the UK out of the EU - and the UK in turn divided into it's nations. They want to protect their political influence in the ME, hence aid the dictator Assad, bombard cities including citizens, whom in turn have no other option than to flee.

Just be aware of this, ATS.

Even it is posted in vloggers site i doubt vblogger nor the Russians are behind the feedback of situation you see on the video by the lady who experience Calais situation as a resident there.
I am aware of Russian view of the situation in hand and also how Russia is dealing with European crisis of illegal immigrants and also how it uses a powerplay towards EU using the crisis as a tool.

We share a long border with Russia and refugee issue with Russia is still unsolved here. Russia is not a part of EU so Schengen deal and Dublin agreements do not apply there. There are influx of refugees coming to EU and a lot of them are allready in Russia and entering to EU through Russian borders, there are also middle eastern immigrants who speaks and write perfect russia and have lived in Russia for years, among asylum seekers entering our borders. Russia sees this as an opportunity for future blackmailing EU to make a deal and ending sanctions against it.

While there is a possibility to stop influx through Greece and Turkey, there is no possibility to stop influx through Russia and Russia knows this. Turkey has been offered 3.2 billion Euros to stem migration flow and now Turkey asks 3 Billion Euros a month instead of 3.2 billion total and blackmails EU with bigger influx to EU( You see powerplay in this too ). Russia aswell as Turkey are both using the crisis as a tool. Scandinavian borders with Russia is already leaking and in spring time there will be more coming, even if Turkey and Greece influx will be solved, through Russia.

What you have in hand is total chaos and pedestal for massive wargames in Europe.

She must be a racist, or payed by fascists to come and lie about whats happening!!!...

What the hell is Europe becoming?! A social experiment?!

The problem is that they have huge populations and we have neither the men nor the resources to enact such a plan or any of it's alternative's, change has to come from within these nations which is not going to happen but then the alternative is we hire Trump enterprises to build us a wall to keep them out which is of course never going to work or we let them in which is what has happened and we kiss good bye to our own culture's, tradition's, religion's and way of life as they out pace our breeding rate and then outvote us eventually making us second class citizens subject to a special religious tax for being christians in our own nation's before WE get driven out just like what happened to the syrian christian's and the turkish armenian's.
