Yes and no. In fairness, the dozen listed include the absolute lowest graded politicians on the issue of honoring the 2nd Amendment. Feinstein, Boxer, Bloomberg, Schumer, Emanuel, Levin, and Blumenthal have all pressed for (local/state/or national) level eviscerations of the 2nd. For gun owners, Feinstein and Bloomberg are about as close to Satan incarnate as it gets.

I'd have probably thrown Lautenberg off the list because he's dead, and replaced him with Obama, but if one was putting together a dirty dozen of worst enemies of the 2nd, the actual list presented is not far fetched in any way.

How would the people who see nothing wrong with Nugent's meme feel about a similar one which featured Catholic pro-gun control politicians with a picture of the Vatican, or Protestant ones with a picture of WASP Jesus?

ETA: Or how about one of Irish politicians with an Irish flag, or Italian ones with an Italian flag? Are you beginning to get the picture?

I like WASP Jesus and believe He would be very pro 2nd Amendment, so my jimmies would not be rustled in any way by that. I'd laugh it off as ridiculous. (and we already know the Vatican toes the globalist position of "OMG GUNS! Civillians shouldn't have the GUNS!" so such an image related to them wouldn't be all that erroneous.)

I'm white and English, a victim of racism.

American always cast English actors to play the villain in Movies.

That's so wrong of Hollywood! Everyone knows all English people are either butlers or secret agents!

Seriously though, I'm doing my best to think of a movie where the villain is English, not Eastern-European, American, Russian, Asian, Middle-Eastern, or South/Central American. In fact, it seems Canada, the UK and Australia are strangely absent in the realm of movie villainy. I smell a Royal Conspiracy!

I agree 100% which is why I don't get why he would use an image like that to make his point. The point would have been well made, and not even debatable without the unnecessary bigotry.

I mean really? Jew York City? That was either lifted from stormfront or Jesse Jackson. Either way quite pathetic and portrays him as being a bigoted ass rather than a 2nd amendment activist.

Magneto, Emperor Palpitine, Gollum, Bill the Butcher, Hannibal Lector, Snape, Ralph Feines as Voldemort, Dooku and Saruman by Christopher Lee, the original General Zod, Kahn from ST Into Darkness, Ebeneezer Scrooge by Patrick Stewart, Bane.

All villains played by notable Brits.

Fair enough, but if the point is that IF there is a conspiracy being brought to bear by Israel through American Jews, to destroy the 2nd Amendment, he (and the rest of us) would likely be better served by coming right out and saying it. As it is, to most of us who aren't aware of where individuals stand in their anti-gun rankings, it looks a lot like someone gathered up the names/pictures of as many anti-gun Jews are they could come up with.

This I disagree with, or at least I hope my disagreement is correct. (You know very well where I stand on Antisemitism) I don't think Ted read the damn thing very closely and I certainly don't think he lifted it directly from Stormfront. I suspect it crossed his Facebook or Twitter feed and he knee-jerked and passed it on sans actually digging into it. Ted isn't a back peddler, even when he's wrong he goes full speed into the wrong. That's stubbornness, and while I can understand how it looks like bigotry, I believe that was not the intent.

It's unfortunate because it detracts from a very valid message: The individuals on the graphic are extremely dangerous to 2nd Amendment supporters and need to be dealt with through money and votes.

Did the Jewish part need to be pointed out? What did it change or add to the message. That is what gets me.

Allow me to speak the previously unspoken fact...

It makes little to no sense for any Israel-loving American Jew to be anything other than a die-hard Republican. What American political party has economically and geopolitically benefited Israel tremendously over the past 30+ years? It certainly hasn't been the party that has pushed Israel to concede more to Palestine, the party who legitimized a terrorist leader as the valid leader of Palestine, or the party which offered major concessions to Iran over nuclear issues over the very vocal protest of Israel. So why in the blue hell do so many American Jews ride the coattails of the modern progressive movement and support exactly the opposite domestic policy their potential allies in the GOP support? I don't believe ANY of the politicians on that list are part of any Israel-centric conspiracy. In fact, I believe the average Israeli has far more in common with the average American Conservative than they have with any of the individuals on the list.

The bigger issue is ...why is Ted Nuggent on Storm Front, which is a white power/NAZI website?

That kind of shows you Ted's true intentions right there.

Erm, you do realise that over the past 30 years the GOP has become more and more right wing and insane. Don't you?

I disagree with your opinion. The GOP has shifted leftward, just not quite as fast as the Democratic party has. 30 years ago, the Libertarian party was considered "liberal" by most GOP voters... today the Libertarian party is actually America's real Conservative party.

That is true. While the GOP bends-over at the very mention of Israel and does whatever they can to help Israel, they forget about the American people they are supposed to represent.

Is it possible that not all Jews think alike? Perhaps they have differing opinions and beliefs that the GOP may not encompass.

Also, is it possible that many Jews are tired of being used as a political tool by the GOP? Honestly, the Right-Wing's ties to Israel/Jews has become part of their propaganda as much as invoking the name of god.

And we cannot forget the possibility that perhaps many Jews in the US do not agree with the GOP/Israel actions or foreign policies.

Gary Oldman in Leon the Professional he plays a really bad cop. In True Romance he plays a really mean, African American, dope dealer. Both great flicks BTW.

I think you're both right here actually. What Djarum wrote truly is the perception most people will glean from Nugent's posting. Your response is probably a fairly accurate accounting of what actually took place in his mind, and of course, what the intended message would have been - had it not been obscured by the nonsense of making it about Israel/Jews.

Holy excrement. Seriously? You really can't see the point????

Well then certainly you can see how important it would be to smear a well know 2nd amendment advocate as anti Semitic. I mean you can see that right?

The GOP has not shifted Left. Our entire political structure has shifted to the Right. If we had shifted Left than we shouldn't have such a problem getting Universal Healthcare or a single-payer plan. No, those we call socialists like Obama helped create a fascist ACA that benefited the corporations, not the people. That is indicative of how far we have gone to the Right when those we label "socialist" cow-tow to the Right.

What we have now is more big-government fascism pushing us towards the Right and for some people what the GOP is doing is not good enough. They want to take it further Right and so they no longer call themselves Republicans. They call themselves "Libertarians".

Which they are not.
