I still wonder what implications this has on the whole for humanity???

Does it mean we might finally understand enough about physics to get the hoverboard?

Bob Lazar told us a long time ago that the theory about gravity was wrong and there were no such things as gravitons, but gravity was a wave or waves...

Perhaps a result of mass and motion (like ripples)?

Less than a decade ago, the concept of cloud computing seemed like a futuristic idea, Nav Dhunay . But, now cloud computing has changed the way we do almost everything. From business documents to vacation photos, cloud computing has allowed us easier access to our digital information.

And it is speculated that gravity waves are conveyed by the graviton.

Among whom? In the computer industry the idea of 'computing as a utility' has been around since the first time-sharing systems in the early 1970's. It never went anywhere. It just wasn't as economically and technically feasible.

As microprocessors got cheaper and faster at a rate higher than the communications bandwidth and costs, it became more desirable to distribute microchips widely.

It came back in a big way with Mosaic & Netscape in 1994. Now, the infrastrucure and technology for widespread data communication has been built, and the economic advantages of centralization and specialization (of labor) reassert themselves.

The existence of gravitational waves was predicted by Einsten around a century ago. Only using mathematics and physics. That blows my mind! How did he do it?
We now live in a time where we have the technology to detect this faint girations in space/time. I can only imagine what we will be capable of in a hundred years.....if we don't kill ourselves off.

As 1st Science Officer Spock would say..."Fascinating".
