Just... Go away.

Stop telling other people that they should "fear" this & "fear" that.

You're boring.

And you're only scaring yourself and other gullible peasants.

No, I won't live in fear of terror or refugees or the far right or a theocratic push.

I won't fear left and right rhetoric.

I carry on as I always have and I'm sure the majority will as well.

Take your fearmongering bull sh# and shove it, reprobate.

Charlie,

I declare this thread BS free, and what is more, I totally endorse, support, and agree with your sentiment in its entirety.

Lol, I only fear working on scaffolding when it's 3 or more stories high.
The rest of life, meh, there could be boogymen anywhere, I prefer to think rationally and argue the potential challenges or benefits of any given situation.

...too many folk on ATS use the lame 'fear' claim though, it seems to be a last ditch way to discredit even reasoned arguments sometimes.

I've got enough immediate problems of my own to worry about without taking on the worlds myriad of problems non of which I can do anything about. Life's too short to worry. It's a total waste of precious time.

Good thread Charlie, I share your sentiments

it's a bit like when James Dean is asked what he was rebelling against, in rebel without a cause. He replied, 'What have you got?', or something similar.

If we ask our Media what we should be afraid of, no doubt we would receive a similar answer.

The only thing I am slightly concerned about presently, is whether my fence will survive this Storm. It's looking 50/50 at the moment.

But Charlie, without fear, religion and politics wouldn't have a leg to stand on between them.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except in a state of Islam.

But you won't hear me telling you or anyone else to fear Allah.

& that be the difference, sir.

Well of course it would be silly to fear a claimed entity which has zero tangible or reproducible evidence to support it.
That's like being scared of reptilian aliens lol

I heard that fear induced threads are the leading cause of robot ninja attacks.

Stop the fear and we'll stop the robot ninjas. If anything was truly fear inducing I'd rather be hugging my loved ones instead of posting faux apocalyptic doom. First! (i dunno what 'first' means, It seems to be a popular thing to say)

Spiders! Fear spiders!

If you ever wonder why a huge arse elephant is afraid of a tiny mouse...remember spiders.

I've only stepped on a rattlesnake once.
Fear keeps me from ever doing it again.

Too geeked up to even keep it down
Too peaced out to even be around
Too beat up to even breathe it out
(Too freaked out to even leave your house)

Buck 'em, Mr. Speirs!
