Philip Haney has been exposing this since at least 2013. He has been on television on several occasions, he has sent letters to Congress, etc, etc. If he hadn't been and hadn't done what he said he did, the DHS, or FBI would have arrested him for impersonating a former federal officer.

According to Pamela Geller, he was an entomologist that retired from wherever he worked in July 2015. This is confirmed by Daily Caller, et. al.

Do you have other information?

When did you know Mr. Haney ... when he was studying boll weevils at USDA or when he became a top agent at NTC-P a few years later only to be shut down and ignored by his "DHS" superiors, the Inspector General and various Members of Congress?

Looking at the letter EU found at Scribd ... uploaded by "Katie" about the time Mr. Haney showed up on Breitbart, Daily Caller, Fox and the rest ...

1300 Pennsylvania Avenue is the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington DC, and US Customs and Border Patrol is a tenant. Ronald Reagan Building - Our Tenants

Okay ... that's one in favor of authenticity.

Now, the US Customs and Border Patrol's website is at www.cbp.com

... and putting in Donald Conroy in their Search ... he shows up ... in a Press Release CBP Announces April Statistics for Detroit Metro Airport
Release Date: May 18, 2010

"We who work for CBP are dedicated to protecting our country and our way of life," stated Donald Conroy, port director for the Port of Detroit Metropolitan Airport. "This protection includes our citizens, economy and country from all threats."

He's still listed as "Port Director for the Port of Detroit Metropolitan Airport" as late as January 2011.

And that's the last reference that comes up on the CBP website search.

Highly doubtful.

Can you prove that or are we trolling again tonight?

The address on the letter for Mr. Haney also makes sense through several sources (from 2012).

This is a proposal to consolidate leases on buildings housing two groups including the National Targeting Center (NTC-P) and states that as late as November 2012 ... the group was indeed housed at 12379 Sunrise Valley Drive. STE C. Reston VA:

Gene ral Services Administration link

The letter references that Mr. Haney was on the ATT (Advance Targetting Team) of the NTC-P.

This document pops up Depa rtment of Homeland Security, Office of the Inspector General, Information Sharing On Foreign Nationals: Overseas Screening

On page 36:

Officials we interviewed throughout DHS singled out the skills of the more experienced targeting specialists at the NTC-P, and the screening software used by CBP—ATS-P—as the most sophisticated analysis resources currently available in DHS. NTC-P managers said they could rebuild the NTC-P ATT link and data analysis capabilities with a staff of 230 officers. We consider this a reasonable investment in the ability of DHS to “connect the dots” in terrorism and criminal cases.

Emphasis mine.

So, what do we have in the analysis of the letter?

The address in Washington for CBP is accurate.

The address for Mr. Haney in Reston VA checks out.

Very specific and not commonly known details check out in the letter from Donald Conroy to Mr. Haney check out, including ancillary language like "connect the dots" that Mr. Haney uses off-handedly several times in his interviews.

I find no trace for showing that Mr. Conroy was the Director of NTC-P in mid-2012. That seems like a considerable leap up from Port Director at Detriot in 2011.

I find no references that Mr. Haney left the Department of Agriculture sometime in early 2002 and went to work for DHS.

I have no idea why DHS would require the services of an entomologist studying the boll weevil.

Yes, is that why Mr. Conroy shows up in Press Releases in 2011?

You're going to have to do better than that, Xuench.

EDIT: Actually, as much as I loathe to have to admit it ... that is unfair.

So, are you implying that Donald Conroy as the Port Director at the Detroit Airport was a cover position, or that studying the boll weevil in the mid 90s and early 2000s was a cover position for Mr. Haney?

Or something else? I'd be glad to hear it with any kind of actual substantiating detail, even a small one.

So, here, from mid-December is the bit from the Daily Caller .. (which seems to be the refined version of the story that Mr. Haney is trying to resurrect in The Hill article first linked) ...

When the name of the terrorist group that the San Bernardino extremists — Sayed Farook and Tashfeen Malif — were affiliated with became public, a retired Department of Homeland Security employee, whose work was shut down out of fear of offending Muslims, sat up straight in his chair.

“That’s my case,” he exclaimed, hearing al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat — both movements a part of the Deobandi movement within Islam.

Trained as an entomologist, retired DHS employee Philip Haney used his skills of observation and attention to detail at the Customs and Border Protection agency to keep Americans safe from violent jihadists. Haney says it all comes down to “follow the trail, find the nest.”

Daily Caller, 12/ 20/

Now, we know that Mr. Haney retired in July 2015 because he was exhausted by trying to fight the shutdown of his investigation, correct?

Sayed Farook and Tashfeen Malif committed their acts on Dec. 2, 2015. Haney started showing up on the right-wing radar around December 7, as shown earlier.

Actually so far ... this makes sense.

Which actually brings us back around to the original article that Mr. Haney pinned for The Hill December 16, 2015.

But after more than six months of research and tracking; over 1,200 law enforcement actions and more than 300 terrorists identified; and a commendation for our efforts; DHS shut down the investigation at the request of the Department of State and DHS’ own Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Division. They claimed that since the Islamist groups in question were not Specially Designated Terrorist Organizations (SDTOs) tracking individuals related to these groups was a violation of the travelers’ civil liberties. These were almost exclusively foreign nationals: When were they granted the civil rights and liberties of American citizens?

Worse still, the administration then went back and erased the dots we were diligently connecting. Even as DHS closed my investigation, I knew that data I was looking at could prove significant to future counterterror efforts and tried to prevent the information from being lost to law enforcement. In 2013, I met with the DHS Inspector General in coordination with several members of Congress to attempt to warn the American people’s elected representatives about the threat.

In retaliation, DHS and the Department of Justice subjected me to a series of investigations and adverse actions, including one by that same Inspector General. None of them showed any wrongdoing; they seemed aimed at stopping me from blowing the whistle on this problem. Earlier this year, I was finally able to honorably retire from government and I’m now taking my story to the American people as a warning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is what I think happened. Mr. Haney did indeed move from the Department of Agriculture effectlvely to DHS sometime in the early 2000s. (How this transpired is probably a great story in itself.) He was tracing two groups (al Haba and Tablighi Jamaat) which are both multinational and involved deeply in Muslim communities around the globe.
I think Mr. Haney got obsessed with the "connections" between these groups. I think he wouldn't let his beliefs go back in 2013 and spent most of the time fighting the system. I think he probably got an audience with someone in Congress during this time, and that's when CPB probably started investigating him or as Mr. Haney puts it "shutting him down." This finally resulted in his departure in 2015 with "retirement."
General Facts:
Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were also associated and affiliated through a string of connections with portions of the Muslim community that are affiliated with these two groups that Mr. Haney focused on.
However, to make the claim (as OP does) that this means that President Obama is intentionally wiping out investigations into known terrorists ... and the rest of that garbage ... is just that. Garbage.
Both al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat are huge international groups with considerable influence in the Muslim community world wide. The folks at State probably got some phone calls from both these organizations and with no firm evidence back in 2013 linking these groups to terrorist activities, the Civil Rights lawyers at State shut the investigation down.
The connections between Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik and al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat are tenuous and second hand at best and available only in hindsight.
There is ZERO evidence in any of this that Barack Obama personally commanded anything in this very odd chain of events to happen.
Unless I read the article wrong...the whistle-blower claimed the Boston attack might have been prevented. So where are our representatives, the supreme court and the lawyers. Oh yeah. They don't do that anymore.
To be clear...ever since Philip Haynes retired as a border control review analyst...He has claimed that he could of prevented Boston, San Bernardino and other attacks if his project hadn't been shut down.
example:
I could have stopped San Bernardino attack but Feds shut me down: Whistleblowing analyst claims year-long terror investigation was quashed because government didn't want to 'unfairly' profile Islamic groups
www.dailymail.co.uk... uashed-government-didn-t-want-unfairly-profile-Islamic-groups.html
However, he says government civil rights officials destroyed the information he collected over fears he was unfairly profiling Muslims, investigated him, and then stripped him of his security clearance.
Hmm... sounds like an interesting retirement?
Certainly he is unhappy...but no idea how credible his claims are..
I do know he has been shouting about this for a couple of years now and has written letters to congress..Seeing how eager the GOP dominated congress is to open investigations everytime the President passes gas, I have to assume that this repeated claim (and lone claim - no one else backing him up?)...is likely a bitter ex-dhs-employee looking for a spotlight.
I got a little ... interested in this, as can be seen above.
Folks in the US don't understand. Here in Europe, the Islamic attacks are way worse than what is being reported.
On a trip to Germany Is saw a teenage girl stoned to a bloody mess in the street by a gang of migrants for wearing a skirt. Nothing came out of it. No arrests. It is considered normal now.
its fairly straight forward. USA, your Muslim named president has sold you out to the Arab nations.
maybe to get out of trillions of debt you have.
whether the plan will work is up to Russia and other oppositions.
next time i would select a president that does not use catchy catch phrases" yes we can"
and having a none Muslim name would help also. maybe look at their politicsn future than the entertainment side of it all
i hop his plan fails - but that's the reason folks!
Lets start with a link to the story: The Hill
Now...my understanding is that "The Hill" is a middle of the road company that doesn't lean left nor right. And here is a bit of an overview. Apparently president Obama has been ordering DHS to scrub records of terrorists and their links to terrorist groups. How about this quote:
What!? The Hill is decidedly more right wing than Fox News...
By the way, your OP is one big anecdote and not really evidence of anything.
Not to mention the fact that you list five people that you spuriously claim represents Islam.
I'll do the math for you: 5/1,300,000,000 = 0.000000000003 of Islam.
I'll cede your point when Westboro is involved in violence and killing across the globe, every day.
Until then, you have no point whatsoever.
It's AKA islamic terrorism.
I'm truly sorry that you haven't heard of it.
Let us know when the Christian terrorism is happening on several continents simultaneously, affecting hundreds or thousands daily.
Be sure to point up the Westboro connection.
