Fly-eating robot powers itself

Forgive me if this topic has been posted prior to my discovery, but just recently I stumbled across an article on CNN.com and was befuddled! Apparently English scientists have built a robot that empowers itself by eating houseflies! That's right, batteries not included for this bad boy! The "EcoBotII" is said to use human waste as bait to lure and catch the flies. "It then digests the flies, before their exoskeletons are turned into electricity, which enables the robot to function." According to CNN the robot is still in its early stages and is only capable of traveling 10 centimeters per hour. This is revolutionary my friends!
