Sure, here you go:

Romans 13
1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

The bolded part basically says for you to "be the bitch of government mandates", as you put it.

There is a big difference between socialism and communism, and I prefer socialism to communism. People can still get rich in countries with light amounts of socialism, and own property, but there are safety nets in place in order to help the poor.

In a communist country, the government owns all of the property and distributes it how they see fit, often not taking into account how hard someone has worked.

What we really want are socialist elements in our capitalist society. I am interested in that, while I am not interested in communism.

My health care is paid for 100% by my new employer.

So an increase in taxes for any reason, including health care, would hurt me.

I also don't trust that the government would be able to handle such an endeavor.

Do you trust the government to create a functioning single payer system?

How is that different from government healthcare?

The government operates everything and distributes care as they see fit.

Capitalism is what made America what it is

No...gangsterism and looting of other nations is the credo of the USA. Show me how corporate bailouts eg the Bank bailouts is anywhere near what capitalism is about?

Get rid of money!!? DBCowboh is gonna have an aneurism just thinking about it.

Couldn't agree with you more, I've been preaching the evils of money & economy for years now.

Egalitarianism doesn't seem to be a strong suit to some people.

And they were all compelled to receive a mark in either the hand or the forehead and no one could buy or sell without it.

Cashless society.

It comes linked to the worship of the Beast, but hey, little things like bowing to the arbiter of the new system of exchange shouldn't bother you too much.

In a capitalist country, the biggest crook in town owns all of the property and distributes it how he sees fit, never taking into account how hard someone has worked for them.

And yet people talk of socialism as the great equalizer

And you have laissez faire capitalism? - I think you'e delusional if you call taxpayer funded Bank Bailouts as capitalism and not socialized cronyism!

fortune.com...

There is no dispute that income inequality has been on the rise in the United States for the past four decades. The share of total income earned by the top 1 percent of families was less than 10 percent in the late 1970s but now exceeds 20 percent as of the end of 2012. A large portion of this increase is due to an upsurge in the labor incomes earned by senior company executives and successful entrepreneurs. But is the rise in U.S. economic inequality purely a matter of rising labor compensation at the top, or did wealth inequality rise as well

Oh yea, the last 15 years of unbridled capitalism have been just great! Crashing Economy, Bank Bailouts, New world order, false flag attacks, massive spying, gangstalking, mass shootings, anthrax attacks, U.S. government torturing it's own citizens.

Oh yea I definitely want more of the last 15 years, don't you?

The type of Capitalism some of the people espouse has guided economic policy for the last 25 years with literally no competing economic systems. Hence, we can conclude that the current state of the economy and the world is a result of this philosophy and it's variants. So, this means that this philosophy, and its variants must take responsibility for the current state of the world and all the problems therein.
