My feeling on the Bern, is he is too communist for our own good

Bernie is no where near being communist.

Ok, how can you possibly think that? Here in lies the fundamental issue of what he says he is and what you wish to perceive.

It's been ignored because it doesn't mean anything in relation to Sander's comments.

Sanders cannot control what other people or organizations do.

That's the same deal with ALL super PACS. The candidate has no control over their expenditures, media buys or ad content.

Ok.

You asked for someone to comment on it and I did.

Bernie has no control over that and he has not taken any money from big-money interests. He has stuck to his word.

Sure he can say "I said NO BIG DONORS only the individual PEOPLE can help me".

Yet he criticizes other candidates who receive advertising and support from big donors, but is silent about the ones that support him.

Why hasn't he spoken out against these which support him?

The group often has volunteers at Sanders events and its super PAC has spent close to $1 million on ads and other support for the senator, the New York Times reported in January. In fact, the group had its biggest off-year fundraising effort ever last year. National Nurses United for Patient Protection brought in $2.3 million in 2015, Politico reported, and it gave significant funds to two other unlimited spending groups supporting Sanders.

Another group, Friends of Earth Action, has been airing ads for Sanders in Iowa and New Hampshire, CNN reported last month. Friends of Earth Action is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, which means it has no limit on the dollar amount supporters can give and is not required to disclose its donors, making it the type of group that Sanders frequently criticizes.

That sounds a bit like hypocrisy.

There is no point on commenting on the rest of your post when you make it obvious with the first sentence that you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

Bernie is no where near being communist.

It appears you are the one who has went all clueless. He claims socialist which was the very thing Marx clearly defined was the way to be a true Communist. He sure isn't for freedom from government as the right wishes to be. If the leaders of the Communist revolution didn't use Socialist i would not go there.

The fundamental issue here is the definition of communism. What has Sanders advocated that you would consider communist?

Bernie wants to take money from one and give it to the most needy is one big one. It sounds wonderful but is a slippery slope and we all know he is all in on that one. The simple math is that is a Ponzi scheme.

I honestly do like a lot of what he says about corporate welfare for one, but the steps to get there are very dangerous for freedoms.

Charities should take care of the needy and big gov stepping in taking so much of the middle classes money from us that work for a living has harmed us from being able to be as charitable. Yet still American individuals alone lead the Earth in charitable givers and money spent helping the needy. This with these heavy burdens placed upon us.

I want to go on record saying I appreciate the reasons you Bernie guys and gals like him. You are all rightly thinking this system is a mess as it is. That is because the leaders have prevented the LEO's from their tasks. Had Wall St suffered the consequences of their actions or the "Military industrial complex" suffered for it's greed we would not be here now. This is about political science and manipulation using the media at this point.

Here is why i think so:

My studies in my 1st year in College i took Political Science 101. It started with this definition that was a test question. This was taught in a liberal teachers University, day one. "The definition of Political Science is the manipulation of the masses. One cannot manipulate the masses if they perceive big shifts in direction. Therefore the science show us that if you move the masses towards a direction that is far from the middle, you must do it in small incremental steps so that after so many slight movements of mass thought the people will be closer to agreeing with the fringe ideas".

I haven't looked at Politics the same every since that class....LOL

Socialism is not communism. If it was, there would not be a separate term for the two. They would both be called communism.

Please see the communist manifesto if you still believe this comment you made. You WILL change your mind. I sincerely believe you will. If not, we can agree to disagree and still continue to be nice to each other in the process. I like the flow of ideas from all here as some of them make me think and I LOVE to think. All of you are like brothers and sisters here and we have a place to hash things out.

I've read it and am I still able to separate the two. You have to have socialism to be communist, but you can be socialist without going to to the communist extreme.

We have socialism in this country already and it has not taken us to the extremes you fear.

Correct me if i am wrong but that wasn't the only thing was it?

I like his stance on a lot of things like "no to lobbying" to name one big one. He has GOOD ideas, but the way of this isn't more taxes it is CRIMINAL CHARGES for the guilty on Wall St. Both parties are in too deep with Wall st and the military complex companies and agencies like the SEC are guilty of covering for them at the expense of not only America but everywhere they touch. They touch the whole planet and the immediate Solar System (tongue out of cheek now).

Ok, can show me one big country that is currently socialist that has their economy working properly? If it wasn't in the planks it wouldn't be in my thoughts as to where we have to be heading.

( My kid blew a tire, I have chores. Thanks for the honest debate. I will be back later)

No, because socialism needs to exist within a capitalist system or it will eventually lead to communism. There are no purely socialist or communist states today.

Pure Socialism is the opposite of Capitalism. Pure Socialism is worker ownership of the means of production. This is why Democratic Socialism isn't Socialist at all... just social, trying to ensure that all segments of society have access to what they need to live a quality life. Some people and groups of people try to make the distinction by using the term Social Democracy, I do think it is a much more accurate, less confusing term.

Australia.

Those are the biggest countries that have the system Bernie wants to implement.

Correct. Bernie's brand of "socialism" only skirts on the edges of actual socialism.

Doesn't go far enough, if you ask me.
