Well I'm in the UK so I don't think the same one is available.
If it was and was the equivalent price (which would be £343) I most definitely would.
$500 is a steal for that laptop here... sadly we pay way over the odds in the UK so i doubt it would cost the same here.

Thanks anwyay

So I bought the HP. Got it and it was a nice, quick and solid laptop... but the screen was awful.
Like really bad. So after some deliberation I sent it back... my refund has now been processed and I should have the full amount back in my bank in 2-4 days.

The blacks were like a blueish black and whites a blueish white.
I know this blue hue probably could have been fixed with getting some software, I tried calibrating myself using the the options already on the laptop but no joy.

My 7 year old laptop screen is so much crisper and nicer, so I was really annoyed.

Some of it may have because it was a matte screen but after reading reviews, a couple of reviewers were not impressed at all by the screen. I thought I'd done my research but clearly not.

So I guess screen is THE most important thing to me... has to look very nice.

*sigh*

Oh well... back to the drawing board.
