It certainly wasn't her finest moment and critics are pouncing.
During Wednesday evening's Democratic townhall on CNN, Hillary Clinton was asked a question by moderator Anderson Cooper that, considering the bizarre answer she gave, she may not have been prepared for.
"One of the things that Senator Sanders points to and your critics point to is you gave three speeches to Goldman Sachs, you were paid $675,000," Cooper said to Clinton. "Was that a mistake? Was that an error in judgement?"
"Well, I dunno," Clinton responded. "That’s what they offered." The answer elicited a laugh from the audience as Hillary continued to stammer through a rambling rationale, adding that she didn't know she was going to run for president at the time she gave the speeches.

A person who is honest would say something along the lines of, 'I took it because I wanted to maximize my earning potential', but she is so busy trying to convince people she is 'average' just like them that the simple fact of owning up to her past is probably the furthest thing down the list.
