Correction, democratic socialist which is a big difference. Have you heard of the word congress? Plus, republicans hold the house. So if we're jumping to conclusions, then I'd say we can start up the Crusades again by voting for the conservatives that are running.

"That is what gave birth to the Crusades. They were not the brainchild of an ambitious pope or rapacious knights but a response to more than four centuries of conquests in which Muslims had already captured two-thirds of the old Christian world. Why did you guys not mention how Bernie talked about how his spirituality is represented by the idea that when a kid goes hungry, when a veteran is homeless and lacking health care -

So - (he didn't ask this - it's me asking): How do those people call themselves "Christians"? I just DO NOT GET IT. It's cognitive dissonance.

What he said is SPOT ON -- it MATTERS about others who have to suffer, starve, and otherwise be ignored.
