So it seems, as part of an attempt to capture Edward Snowden, the US flew a plane over part of Scotland. The plane is said to have also been used in " controversial US rendition missions."

The fight took place on June 24, 2013. The airspace over Scotland is regulated by the UK, and evidently the Scottish government wasn't told about the operation. Something there not happy about as you might imagine.

Quote from article:
"That the flight passed over Scotland, airspace regulated by the UK, has raised questions over UK complicity in a covert mission to arrest Snowden and whether any police, aviation or political authorities in Scotland were made aware of the flight path."

They want to get Snowden before he says something that might ruin TPTBs agenda to coronate Miss Hillary.

It occurred in 2013 while Snowden was nation hopping to avoid arrest. The point is pretty much moot since he made it to Russia before he could be arrested.

Their navigation was astray. They had a better chance of capturing Ben Nevis.
