And socialist bailout??? And how many of the execs were flying in their private jets and making millions in bonuses...government gave them a reason to be irresponsible...goes back to being lazy once more. Otherwise they would innovate or take drastic cuts. Too big too fail is a fail in an of itself. Where's the people's bailout?

I didn't dispute it because regardless of whom said it, it still does not prove the original assertion. Bernie has nothing to do with it.

No, it has nothing to do with being lazy. It has to do with deregulation, namely Glass-Steagle, that allowed the holdings banks and investment banks to merge. The ability of corporations to lobby government and affect legislation led to the crash and we bailed them out to keep them afloat. The corruption only continued because we didn't enact proper regulation.

Sanders supporters can describe Sanders-style Socialism, which is essentially Capitalism that uses the government to bring down money from the top where it is currently being hoarded. (Like FDR's "Socialism.") What they can't describe is the old-fashioned Marxist Socialist strawman you seem to be aiming for, because that isn't what Bernie is.

However, these are just the economical stances. Bernie's most important message is getting money out of politics. No one without vested interest can say that is a bad thing.

Look, I agree about the corruption, but why go to socialism...it makes no sense. Let's fix the laws we have or place more on the lobbyists etc...

Officials don't want to get rid of their power, it won't change under another form of government. Crony is crony.

TERM LIMITS is step one in my opinion. The government fears is still on a united front, I don't ever want to lose that.
