I'm a SOAD fan because they rock and have a message behind their music , they're not the tightest band in the world or the most technically brilliant but they do write fine tunes that you can shake yer head to.

Good post thanks. I saw System of a Down on the Pledge of Allegiance tour in...2002? Something like that.

Last year in 2015 they played 1 USA show, and it happened to be 25 minutes from my house. I went by myself because my friends were all going to see My Morning Jacket same night... was just going to get a cheap lawn ticket and chill on the hill...someone was selling a pit ticket and i snagged a $120 ticket for $50.

I go to live rock shows super regulaarly.. I have not seen a pit like saw last summer at the System show since probably the las System show i was at. Honestly i didn't know people still moshed that violently..LOL

Anyway the Melvins were last minute surprise openers and i got to watch them from 3 feet away. And System was incredible. Super on point. I loved it when i was not fighting for my life.


Anywho sorry for the rant good post and good band.
