Still, I'll agree with Indigo's comments on India Daily as well....

The original sankrit documents also contain schematics. The forumals prescribed in it apparently do work and have been replicated by Indian scientists to form alloys with strange properties. So, there does appear to be something major about this. In fact it possibly proves the existence of an advanced civilization on Earth.

This document, however cryptic it may sound, has been studied by so many scientists, researchers and engineers. There is definitely something there. For instance it even talk about beam weapons and early warning technology, commercial and military aircraft, and tactics. It's just written in a very cryptic manner.

There was something about this written in Childress book about using the latent power of mercury as propulsion.

6. Drishya : “By collision of the electric power and wind power in the atmosphere, a glow is created, whose reflection is to be caught in the ‘vishwa kriya darpana’ or mirror at the front of the vimana, and by its manipulation to produce a maaya-vimana or camouflaged vimana”

Adrishya. : “According to ‘Shakti tantra’, by means of the Vymarathya Vikarana and other powers in the heart centre of the solar mass, attract the force of the etherial flow in the sky, and mingle it with Balaahaavikarana shakti in the aerial globe, producing thereby a white cover which will make the vimana invisible.”

Paroksha. : “According to ‘Meghotpatti prakarana’ or the science of the birth of clouds, by entering the second of the summer cloud layers, and attracting the power therein with the shaktyaakarshana darpana or force attraction mirror in the vimana, and applying it to the parivesha or halo of the Vimana a paralysing force is generated, and opposing vimanas are paralysed and put out of action”

9. Aparoksha. : “According to ‘Shakti-tantra’, by projection of the Rohinee beam of light, things in front of the vimana are made visible.”

10. Sankocha or Contraction. : “As prescribed in the Yantraangopasamhaara section, when the vimana is flying at a speed with fully extended wings and there is danger ahead, turning the seventh switch in the vimana, its parts can be made to contract.”

Jyothirbhaava. : “As stated in ‘Amshubodhinee’, out of Samgnaana and other sixteen digits of the solar glow, by attracting the twelveth to the sixteenth digits and focusing them on the air force in the Mayookha section in the fourth pathway in the sky and similarly by attracting the force of the etherial glow and mingling it with the glow in the seventh layer of air mass and then by projecting both these forces through the five tubes in the vimana on to the section of the guhaa-garbha mirror, a rich glow like the morning glow of the sun will be produced.

16. Tamomaya. : “As described in ‘Darpana Prakarana’, by means of the dark force mirror, capture the force of darkness, pass it through the Thamo Yantra in the north-west side of the vimana and by turning a switch produce at noon-day the utter darkness of the night of the new-moon.”

Pralaya, : “As described in the magic book of destruction, attract the five kinds of smoke through the tube of the contracting machine in the front part of the vimana and merge it in the cloud-smoke mentioned in ‘Shadgarbha Viveka’. Pushing it by electric force through the five limbed aerial tube, destroy everything as in a catacyclism.”

21. Langhana. : “As stated in ‘Vaayu tattva prakarana’ when crossing from one air stream into another, the vimana faces the baadaba glow of the sun and catches fire. In order to prevent that, the electric force and air force in the vimana should be conjoined and centred in the life-centre of the vimana, and by turning the switch, the vimana will leap into safety.”

23. Chaapala. : “On sighting an enemy plane, by turning the switch in the force centre in the middle section of the vimana, a 4,087 revolutions an hour atmospheric wave speed will be generated and shake up the enemy plane.”

24. Sarvatomukha. : “When a formation of enemy planes comes to attack one’s viamana, by turning the switch at the crown of the vimana, make it revolve with agility and face all sides.”

25. Parashabda Grahaka : “As explained in ‘Sowdaaminee kalaa’ or science of electronics, by means of the sound capturing yantra in the vimana, to hear the talks and sounds in enemy planes flying in the sky .”

26. Roopakarshana. : “By means of the photographic yantra in the vimana to obtain a television view of things inside an enemy plane.”

27. Kriyaagrahana. : “By turning the key at the bottom of the vimana, a white cloth is made to appear. By electrifying the three acids in the north-east part of the vimana and subjecting them to the seven kinds of solar rays and passing the resultant force into the tube of the Thrisheersha mirror and making the cloth screen face the mirror and switching on the upper key, all the activities going on down below on the ground, will be projected on the screen.”


28. Dikpradarshana : “Turning the key at the front of the vimana Dishaampati yantra will show the direction from which the enemy plane is approaching.”


31. Stabdhaka. : “By projecting apasmaara poison-fume smoke through the tube on the north side on the vimana and discharging it with stambhana-yantra, people in enemy planes will be made unconscious.”

32. Karshana. : “When enemy planes come in strength to destroy one’s vimana, by setting aflame the Jwaalinee shakti in the Vyswamara naala or pipe located at the navel of the plane, and switching the keys of the two wheels to 87 degrees of heat, the burning shakti will envelope the enemy plane and destroy it.”

It reads like a military treatise of an airforce. It talks about stealth, camoflage, tactical systems, , beam weapons, surveillance, early warning systems and even fighter tactics. Now, we all know that the Indian Vedas and epics talk extensively about flying aircraft. However, for the first time, we have actually found an ancient documents that explains them technically and the systems on board them. This must only mean that it is real. Astonishing!

The flying vehicles, are called Vimanas, and used throughout vedic literature to denote flying vehicles of the gods and the ruling class.

They contain various yantras(machines/devices) with various functions in various parts of the vimanas. All of the major onboard yantras are comprised of darpanas(mirrors or lens), manis(crystals) and channels(outputs) The machines function on various sources of shakti(power)

The Darpana Yanatras(The mirror machines/devices)

There are 8 Darpana Yantras and belong to 4 types of function:

Television
optical stealth, holography and cloaking
Laser and directed energy weapons
Energy generation

The mirrors are used for light related functions to either deflect, reflect, redirect, attract or amplify light and energy beams. In the same way lasers, holograms and solar cells work.

The mirrors are manufactured through special chemical processes using highly optically sensitive organic and inorganic substances.

The 5 main Darpana Yantras are:

1) Vishwa kriyaa darpana:

This device is used to obtain high resoluton real-time imagery of all activites around the Vimana, while in flight, and projected onto some screen. These lens are placed in a special arrangement with crystals, special mirrors and through a combination of solar, electric and mercury power are projected through some mechanism.

2) Shaktyakarshana darpana:

This device is used as a protection to neutralize harmful radiation in certain atmospheric zones. It is made up of 6 crystals positioned in a special arrangement that attract the harmful radiation and then gradually covert it to heat before it dissipates into the atmosphere.

3) Vyroopya darpana:

This is tactical device used to project battle field holographic images to confuse the enemy or to change the appearance of the Vimanas with a special deflecting mirror.

4) Guha garbha darpana:

This is a weapon device and used to harness the energy from the sun, winds, and ether and to redirect it to incapaciate the enemy via a special redirecting mirror; essentially a directed energy weapon.

5) Rowdree Darpana:

This is also some kind of directed energy weapon device. It combined Rodwdree beams(?) with solar rays and produces a high heat intensity ray that can melt anything it is directed on.

The Shakitis(The power sources)

There are 7 sources of Shaktis:

TUNDILA - UDGAMA SHAKTI

PANJARA - PANJARA SHAKTI

AMSHUPA (SHAKTIPA) - SOLAR POWER ABSORPTION

APAKARSHAKA - ABSORPTION OF POWER FROM ALIEN VIMANAS

SAANDHAANIKA - GROUP OF 12 FORCES

DAARPANIKA - KUNTINEE SHAKTI

SHAKTI PRASAVIKA -MAIN MOTIVE POWER

The above terms are nebulous and do not shed much light on the types of propulsion these Vimanas used. However, it can be said, that it was unconventional. The predominant energy sources described are solar rays, crystals, electric power and ether winds. There is also a mention of a "solar glow" which could possibly mean nuclear fusion power.

Dr David Childress also suggests that a mercury propulsion system was used, where the latent power of mercury was used to generate the energy to propel the crafts.

The vimanas's aerodynamics as described in the shastra are similar to the aerodynamics of the common UFO. So some kind of electromagnetic field propulsion maybe at play. It should be noted that there were many types of Vimanas and they all used different forms of propulsion for different roles.

This device is used to locate mines or hidden explosives through air-reconnaissance. Through a sequence of mirrors and image reflecters an image of the ground below is obtained, which is then processed through a special crystal Chumbakamani, and then electricity and light rays are passed through it and then directed on a downwards mirror, that scans the ground.

Tamogarbh Yantra:

This device is used to create some form of invisibility. The device works with revolving two faced mirrors collecting solar rays, activation of acid in the vessel on the opposite side, of mirrors, allowing solar ray to enter the crystal in an acid vessel. By turning a separate wheel in the west, darkness-intensifying mirror begin to function. By operation of a central wheel the rays attracted by the mirror will reach the crystal and envelop it. By operating the main wheel at high speed, darkness will envelop the entire vimana making it invisible.

Shabdhakarshaka yantra:

This device is used in listening to sound waves in a range of 27 miles. It works on some kind of rotary component sensitive to sound.

There are so many errors in that article, as well as circular referencing, that it is not credible by any measure.

Most likely, India daily published a tabloid story about 'alien encounters', noted that the whole internet UFO-fan community went ape-crazy about it, saw hits to their website circulation increase manifold, and continued the line of tabloid to tell people exactly what they want to hear.

This is not to discount the phenomena of Vimana in Sanskrit text. I do wish/hope more serious research will take place on these historical enigmas.

This is why I especially hate the drivel coming from things like India Daily. It trivializes and smears the idea of legitimate scientific evaluation of the topic and of these texts.

BUT... This again was culled from India Daily!! To check on the credibility of the reports, I did send a mail to the editor to authenticate the news and the sources.

ZILCH!! He couldn't. So how credible is the news dished out by India Daily is for you to decide.

most documents, books, scriptures are very very terse,
cryptic (short length, doesn't mean 'encrypted')

these very frequently start abruptly, give details and
end as abruptly

i guess there is a huge amount of knowledge .. and this
is the only method to avoid voluminous manuscripts

the off-shot is that there appear to be lots of gaps and
holes .. these would need earlier knowledge sources
before any sense could emerge

there are many many writings in the form of stories
which sound very unreal, wierd even mystical

but story telling is the only form of passing data down
generations .. i guess most don't understand what they
'carry' .. some who do are 'wise enough' to realize that
'classified information' is a fact of life and MUST be
a tradition to continue .. to avoid very highly destructive
knowledge from getting to the hands of those motivated
by mala fide intentions

as fantasies and to dismiss them as inconsequential
is to deliberately ignore and chose to remain blissfully
ignorant

one characteristic of sanskrit language is its strict
binding to rules of linguistics .. and small words
convey big yet exact meanings .. sometimes
very very descriptive (even exhaustively complete
information about objects/concepts/events)

this could well be named a 'key' to the questions that will
arise in the mind on reading the original/translations

sometimes the translators cannot understand concepts as
those do not yet exist in the present .. and the translation
goes totally haywired

the 'tamoshakti' being understood as 'dark' and therfore 'evil'
forces of the sun is a highly absurd interpretation

tam means dark for sure .. that which can't be 'seen' by our
eyes .. like infra red, radio-waves, electromagnetic radiation
of beyond/below certain frequencies, etc

re-reading/translating may help

indigo's attempts to 'understand' .. and comments of having
clearly understood certain events/concepts/things .. and the
willingness to be very verbose in helping others to understand,
and/or being willing to discuss, debate to get to the truth ..
all these are very nice initiatives

it would help a lot if more and more info is recorded so that

to be in doubt .. each concept/thing/object is defined in clear-cut
