Excellent image I found on the Sanders reddit.

i.imgur.com...

Supposedly the difference between Bernie and Clinton is at 0.2%
It really is at 0.2%... Sheesh.

Is Iowa winner-takes-all or split?
If it's a split, an extremely narrow victory may actually be better for Bernie in the long run.

FOX hasn't called it for the DEMS yet. They just said there is only .2% difference and called it a barn burner.

I think it's different for the Democrats tonight. While the Republicans have votes, the Iowa Democrat party uses State Delegate Equivalents (STEs); which each candidate will share.

Waiting to see if Cruz does a Dean Scream during his speech.

I have to give Bernie credit... He did far better than I thought he would against the establishment's hopeful.

If he takes it, he has earned my respect and depending on who get the GOP nomination... maybe even my vote!

Caucus site suddenly lagging out like crazy... Not loading at all. I wonder if this is the hand of the Man at work?

"Tweaking" a few numbers.

AP called the Republicans, not the Democrats yet

I cannot believe that Cruz is ahead, the guy is a total whackjob, about as bad as Trump is.

There was the potential for him to do well, but I thought the weather would crush his turnout and Trump's more than it did.

Sanders ticked back down. 50 to 49%

Everyone but Rand Paul is a wackjob over there. Clinton's worse, though.

I thought it was mentioned earlier in this thread, apologies if I was mistaken...

I am just reporting on my live feed... just like I will now..

90% reporting..

Clinton 632SDE 50%

Sanders 628SDE 50%

still a nail biter as far as I am concerned... O'Malley has 7SDE can he sway the final total? IDK... but I love the way Iowa handles this deal

How do you know that? I'm getting a "This Service is Unavailable" message from the Caucus live feed.

Yeah, well, just bear in mind that you view someone like Cruz as a whackjob? Well, some of us view Obama and similar as an equal whackjob.

We've been governed for 8 years by a whackjob not of our liking, so we're making a push for our own whackjob.

The pendulum swings you know.

Iowa is notorious for voting for evangelicals

Obama is an Evangelical? I think he won Iowa easily.

He dropped out about an hour ago so I'm not sure what will happen with his votes.

ETA: I know that most Iowans for O'Malley had Bernie as their second.

America has trended center-right for past thirty or so years.

Yes, it does, and now it's swinging hard to the left. For the Democrats, at least. A lot seem to be pissed at Obama's establishmentness.
