Wow OK maybe they don't deserve jail but at the very least need to lose their jobs. I expect more of this however. I mean who really wants to become an officer anymore?? They don't have people beating down their door to become police officers. Meaning more often then not they are down to hiring from the people who shouldn't be armed in the first place.

Think about it police are underpaid living in most cases in poverty. They get little or no respect from the public. They have to put there lives in danger to try to arrest someone only to have a lawyer get them off and put them back on the street. Used to be they had respect and kids even wanted to grow up to be police. Now well were down to two types morons and people with an overly developed sense of justice. Both can be dangerous.

Yes, we saw the result of that problem in Miami years ago (probably 20+ years ago). The needed people and hired many that were off the chain. Police were carrying drugs around to protect the movement. Several were robbing drug dealers. It was a real crazy time. As far as little or no respect, I recall an officer telling me that 30 years ago they hardly had any problems with pulling someone over. However, (this was 15 ya) said that even the kids were running and carrying firearm which they sometimes would shoot. Society has changed and not for the better. Personally I believe it is all the psychiatric drug use during the years of brain development. I have never seen so many kids being drugged to fit in to some compliance model.

The everyone is a special snowflake and get a participation trophy is furthering the problem because they don't develop the tools to deal with defeat, unfairness, etc. which happens to backfire when they realize they have been lied to all their formative years and society is very unfair, brutal, and you don;t get to be given everything. I am shocked at my daughters generation. My daughter was raised right and doesn;t think like this, but her friends are completely lost. They make statements like it is unfair, but one day they will get everything they deserve. What do they think they deserve? A house, a new car, a very high paying job, and not have to do anything for it.

I wonder if these types are so angry and disillusioned and they happen to be brought into the police force we are not seeing this problem escalate. After all, civilian shootings are rising with police shootings. Perhaps the problem has some common roots.

WOW, not only did they miss 105 of the 107 rounds on the first vehicle, the other cops missed their target as well. These poor folks are going to have serious psychological issues even driving down the street. I say this because I have been in a few high speed crashes and I still get the feeling at times of the impact, dirt and glass sensations. They will have times they feel they are going to be opened up on when seeing a parked police car. Sad. And I am not surprised they let them go without charges. Retraining maybe? There is no excuse and any attempt by the Sheriff or DA to minimize it and not prosecute is an affront to all citizens.

8 cops shooting at 2 targets and all those misses? Is that why they were considered incompetent?

Not exactly. However ambushing two ladies in a different model, make, and color vehicle without any warning at all would do it. 8 hit one vehicle btw. The other one involved other officers I think and if so you wonder about training and psychological power trip issues. They must not have been too worried about executing someone. WHich is very troubling. However, the real reason I started the thread was because the DA said they were just incompetent and afraid so they get a pass. WHAT? Do you think ANY citizen would be given such a break if they fired on wrong people that were no threat. This is what is ticking people off, the double standard.

The problem is that many innocent and non violent people are going to die. What will be left will be those with a brutal survival mentality and many of these groups will not be just using small arms fire. Whole police stations will be completely blowen away with any surviving leos etc mopped up with the armed drones etc that the rebels have obtained. When areas get completely out of control i would not be surprised if tptb just nuke the area or use some other weapon of mass destruction.

Well, let me just say that I know a lot of military, law enforcement, and federal agents in many agencies. A great majority of them would join the citizens side of tptb went over the edge. It is the one hop I have that we would see our Brothers and Sisters, literally, turn things around in short order. Right now they mentality is to just go home after their day is done.

So let me just see if I can make myself more unpopular here than I am simply for opposing socialism.....

Why is it (do ya think) that the media seems to have recently really turned on the police with a vengeance?

Yes, yes. I know the media is supposed to perform a sort of "watchdog" role in a society in order to keep the threat of unchecked government power at bay. And yeah. We see how that goes. It seems our dutiful watchdogs only do their duty when they feel like it.

Now we all know the MSM is HEAVILY left-leaning and firmly on the side of massive government. So you have to wonder what their agenda is when they're always harping on the issue of police brutality and excessive use of force. Which, don't get me wrong. It does happen. I'm just not convinced it's an "out of control" problem in a country of over 300 million people with the kind of culture we have.

They compare us to other countries. They compare our police to the police in other countries. But that's just it. We're not other countries. We're us. We have a unique culture. Physical force is just part of the job in a culture like this one.

Now again. The left generally doesn't have a problem with heavy-handed government. I wonder what's up with their fart in an elevator obvious agenda against the cops lately.

Eventually this will have to reach critical mass and protesting in the streets en mass if you want to quell these incidents.

It already has and there are still people, even here, that defend them and constantly make excuses for them. Stop protecting them like they can do no wrong, punish the ones who lie and cover their buddy's ass and start handing out prison sentences and we may see a change. We will never see a mass uprising of the public.

I am not sure about that. There is a large number of people that have been preparing for asymmetric warfare. I say a large number, but I mean a few million out of the 320 million or so. If you just had 3 million or ,93% the ptb will be in trouble. That is a very large force and after they hit armories, acquire weapons and training from vets and maybe foreign support from the likes of China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, etc. all who wouldn't mind see the US Government go by the wayside, things will get very ugly. That is what people don't understand when they say they are just local incompetent militias. And I think there are a whole lot more that would join in if the ptb brought in international response forces. Foreign troops on American soil would drive the numbers of people fighting way up. I suspect that is part of the reason the government predicts only 60 million people in the US by 2025. They say emigrating for jobs, but I suspect something worse especially after the huge homeland forces buildup. But I digress. Just wanted to reply.

I'll have to research that figure you posted. Not that I don't believe you, it's just that I would like to know more about that since my daughter will be 9 in that year. (She's still baking in the womb)

They were looking for Dorner, the cop who was fired for reporting police abuse. He had put a manifesto on the net, or sent it to the LAPD stating they would pay and he was going to use asymmetric warfare, etc. These LAPD cops thought they were a death squad and were out hunting Dorner. Dorner was driving a car if I recall right. However, the two vehicle that were shot up were not the same make. color, model, and the occupants did not match his descriptors. They didn't even follow procedure and saw this truck which was 2 ladies delivering papers and without sirens, blue lights, public address, etc. Just opened fire on the cab, missing 105 of 107 rounds and some rounds went into residents homes. I mean this was one of the worst cases I have heard about.

In the other shooting that night by the LAPD, this whits guy in a black blazer approached a road block on his way to surf prior to work. One cop walked up and talked to the driver, seeing he was a 6'1" black man told him he couldn;t come through and told him to turn around and use a different routs. As this guy was turning around another cop took his cruizer and broad sided him, then jumped out and opened fire. No warning to let me see your hands, get out of the vehicle, etc. Just opened up. I think he may have been wounded but lived if I recall correctly.

Yes, I have been meaning to relocate the report and drill down into the sources. I mentioned it because symptoms usually are indicating a future calamity. Another thing in that was the median wage, being %50K= now and then would be $8,800. The thing is the globalists want to bring us all down to an austere lifestyle (Something Islam seems to impose which may be behind the pushed immigration and in line with other countries. After all you can't have a global government, or as the globalists want open borders with such unequality in other countries. If they had open boarders everyone would leave their countries and go to countries where life is better and pays more. So, I think the globalist goals are going to fail miserably. I don't think countries like Russia, China, etc. are going to put up with open borders, or some global government telling them what to do. See EU central government that imposes a lot of laws on other EU countries like the US Gov pushes it laws onto the states. People and countries in the EU are about to cause the EU to collapse with their stupid moves of late. That is just how I see it, BTW, if you find something on those figures, let me know U2U where because I want to look into it much further. It is critical to know because if it is solid then we got real problems facing us not too long from now. The big thing for me is was it predicted due to a concerted plan.

Government is a monopoly on the use of force.

Because of the nature of government, humans are capable of acquiring power to be able to abuse others with impunity.

Coercive hierarchies need to be abandoned in regards to human organization.

Normally I'm on the side of the cops, but unless there's a bunch of facts that I don't see here to somehow justify this or explain this, I'm with you. This is nuts. At the very least we need to improve the training these guys receive, as well as work on the screening process.

Good Philosophy there. I think there are a large amount of citizens (vets and many more) that pushed far enough might give them that 4 branch of government they keep forgetting about and they would realize they aren't the only ones with a 'monopoly' of power. I realize it isn't in most peoples experience nor do they have the ability to know this. They think the few citizens standing up to government that get killed doing so represent the only type of Americans that would try to fight and would be overwhelmed. I would love to see their faces if the right point is reached when their protectors and government people of all stripes are contributing to the river of red flowing down the rivers and ditches. All their forces are not anything to 30 million pissed off citizens with combat experience. They would force multiply by training lesser capable citizens and deserters from the military and LE joining sides with the citizens. I have talked to many LEO's, Federal Agents, and soldiers about it and almost all of them said they don't agree with what government is doing, but currently hold their jobs, until it is obviously time to reconsider who they represent. Some say they would fire on citizens, but that is about 5-10% and I think they are lying to not be drummed out of their respective organizations. True Americans believe in our rights, after all it is the same rights their civilian families have. Hence a concern of foreign forces being brought in. However, we know the land, we know where the depots are, etc. I had a very astute friend say that if the SHTF, there will be equipment laying all over on the streets.

I to have wondered if the attack on police departments isn't a way to remove the police to replace them. Because truth be told police would come down on the side of people in a conflict. You could say they are the final defense for an invasion. Maybe I've been here to long but it seems odd.

All those "officers" and the "da" deserve to be serving time for
conspiracy to cover up an attempted murder.
What is it that they say - ignorance of the law is not protection form it..
Well how the hell is being a bad shot protection from prosecution?
We all know had that been us we would be serving time..
One law for us and one law for them...
The person above commented as to parallel these incidents as a form is
weakening the police force but the force he speaks of hasn't been around for well over
a decade. The only cops that exist today are not interested with your safety.
They are trained to view everyone as an enemy combatant.
Police today are just as likely to flash bomb a crib as they are to transport weapons to
mexican drug cartels. They are no longer for us...They are for themselves.
What they fail to see is that the protection afforded to them will not extend to their loved
ones and when and if it ever reaches a boiling point people will start learning where they live.
