That is an interesting analogy! So you think it is possible that there is an ongoing conspiracy to trick children into
thinking that even though they had a painful and somewhat traumatic experience of losing a tooth, that ultimately someone is in charge, and everything
is alright? And that this can be accomplished largely by many many people, who mostly are good people and do not even know each other, simply
repeating the same story, in service to some higher good of changing the way they feel?
I guess I can see that.....kind of like the big Santa Claus conspiracy. I mean, it only takes a few well placed actors to be Santa and a few
elves/handlers to allow all the vast majority of everyday people to be convincing in their roles. As a retired first responder, who has actively
participated in dozens of disaster prep drills, I know all too well, what it looks like when there is a real incident occuring, and when it is mostly
just people practicing.
Real explosions and real gore look and sound completely different than the stuff people see on TV and in movies and media think they do....even down
to the way language itself can be used to help create a convincing mood...creating belief space in a person's mind to fill in gaps with their own
personally convincing experiences.
Intriguing comparison. Nice reply!
