I don’t know if doctor Sam is a fraud or not, but what’s the motivation to discount him so quickly? A major medical institution did see something in his work. They did patent his work under their name. Doctor Sam did sue them and win initially. Why would a chalatan spend seven years in court and bankrupt himself over this? If he was just trying to rip people off, this makes no sense for him to do. Ceader's was also clearly caught in a lie if you follow his court case (I just googled), and he did win in court, just to eventually have that over turned.

I'm not so quick to dismiss him as a quack. If this is his life's work, and it sounds like it has been, and you were conspired against, what would you do? The guy had a medical paper published at eighteen years of age.

Perhaps he is legitimate, but I have reviewed many similar people who have had money, testimonials and media coverage but ultimately, they have been revealed to have nothing to offer (there is still controversy about Latrille, years after it was proven to be ineffective).

Due to the volume of those making big claims, I find that you could spend your life chasing the truth and never really knowing for sure (a bit like the X-Files). It helps though to classify and group these people because it is likely that similar 'treatments' may prove to be similarly fallacious.

Dr Sam is in the category that say cancer is caused by infective agents like virii, bacteria, parasites and yeast overgrowths (which may not necessarily be wrong). The thing is, that the links are very difficult to identify because everyone gets an infection sometime.

... and we do know the things that can cause the spectrum of mutations that we call cancer and very few are just infections. There are many toxic chemical causes and there are ionizing radiation causes. Both of these causes are also things we use to cure - go figure!

Yeah well the only Bollocks is the fraud committed by Gallo, never been shown that a retrovirus turns into AIDS, now when you start treating a HIV infection with chemical cocktails, the side effects look remarkbly similar to the diagnosis of AIDS.
