Hogwash and you know. No one claimed it would stop all of them. It sure as heck will stop most.

No it wont. If people are THAT determined to get in they will.

They will cross oceans in leaking boats to freaking get into Australia and the UK so a stupid wall wont do anything for the USA.

I have 4 inventions for you that you might have heard of:
Ladder
Shovel
Boat
Airplane.

I love it when the lefties say it's wastes money and say nothing when Obama gives 3000 dollars to companies that hire each of his newly 'documented' workers....the wall wastes money, what a laugh...

And Obama shouldnt have done that either.
Just because a lot of us see building a wall as stupid doesn’t make us by default Obama loving "lefties".

Why your country is in shambles.

Your saying Hillary beats Trump? I'd take a wager on that one...

Not in popular vote. In the peoples vote Trump will beat Hillary.

But then the poplar vote doesn’t elect presidents. The Electoral College does. And they are made up of career politicians who want to protect the status quo.
The EC has already elected 4 presidents in the past that did not win the vote. You think they will let Trump through if he really is who he says he is and Anti establishment?

Fox's first big victory was in convincing a whole bunch of people that the rest of the MSM was liberal. Last time I checked the rest of Big Media was already owned by billionaires, not your run of the mill liberals. Fox needed this as part of their business stratagy to set themselves apart from the rest of the right wing media which media really is. But now that many conservatives are waking up the the fact that Fox is really noting more than another propaganda arm of tptb.

Thank god someone else realizes this besides me. All this liberal media bs. Turn on the radio, there are no liberal radio programs but Rush Is on 10 channels at once. All the media is owned by rich conservatives. The closest thing to a liberal media there is, is msnbc and they have joe Scarborough on every morning. Every time I see someone reference the "liberal media" it's like neon "stupid" sign on their foreheads. It just tells me they get their facts from Fox News.

Hmm, interesting logic here. Billionaires are conservatives? Really?

Buffet, Gates, Soros, Bloomberg, Mr. CNN. so on....

Income/wealth levels does not indicate political preference. Just like any income level, there is much....'diversity'.

The diversity wasn't even missed in our media until there was more than the 'big three'. To suggest those big three weren't left leaning or liberal...or moved even further in that direction as the general corporate world has also moved vastly to the left...is self deception, to say the least. Today's media and all the venues are more diverse than ever.

In this case Fox is seen as having moved left, from the right perspective, although perhaps not all the way left.....yet.

The evidence is clear. This thread, the list of conservative comments in the last few days since the debate-and nowhere near all these comments come from Trump supporters, they are broad range conservatives, both for and against Trump- so any spin otherwise is and will be met with skepticism.....

Your really need to bone up on how the electoral college works. The allocation of the EC votes are mandated in each state as to where they go based on each State's Presidential election results. The members have zero say in where those votes go...

Despite attempts by Soros to alter that in various states.....

Need something to back up the statement pardner

Even Trump still has undocumented workers cleaning rooms and washing dishes in his hotels and he know it.

Here ya go....in reference to Trump hiring undocumented workers...I know it doesn't matter to his devotees; their cultish emotional investment sees the Donald as almost Christ like. They will allow Trump to exhibit behavior they would not tolerate in others. Hypocrisy at it's most obvious.

Nope your wrong on that. In 22 States the electorate CAN and HAVE voted against the votes for that state. These are called faithless electors.

Faithless Electors

Its been used 157 times. Most of which there was good reason but others? Well not so much.

The states below can ignore the peoples vote:
ARIZONA
ARKANSAS
DELAWARE
GEORGIA
IDAHO
ILLINOIS
INDIANA
IOWA
KANSAS
KENTUCKY
LOUISIANA
MINNESOTA
MISSOURI
NEW HAMPSHIRE
NEW JERSEY
NEW YORK
NORTH DAKOTA
PENNSYLVANIA
RHODE ISLAND
SOUTH DAKOTA
TENNESSEE
TEXAS
UTAH
WEST VIRGINIA

In a couple of the states were it is "illegal" to vote against the popular vote its just a $1000 fine and the vote still counts

It's changing then. Arizona's change, I believe was based on Soros funding the drive.

Most outside the complete vote going to the winner split it by percentile. What makes you think those 'some' you mention would arbitrarily give their votes to Hillary over Trump? Even if Trump won that state's popular vote? How long would that last without backlash...

Unlike your slavish devotion to the "PARTY". You know, the GOP? The ones betraying their lip-service fight against socialism and big govt., and deficit spending...jobs?

Sounds no different than the Sanders acolytes, frankly.

Anyone who puts party over nation deserves extinction. In my books you can kiss both the GOP and the Democrats a not so fond farewell.

Hillary is 100% establishment and part of the corruption. So most the career politicians will Rep or Dem throw there vote in for her (if they legally can) as they wont want to derail the gravy train will they? If Trump really is the reformer everyone says he is (and I doubt that) wont tge corrupt career politicians do everything in there power to stop him coming in?

4 Presidents. Name them, with links. Name the states that gave more votes to the losing candidate than the winning one and
how that difference changed the overall
result of the Presidential election.

This is pure BS...

Hundreds of Billion?? Are you even a bit serious? Ridiculous.
Besides, between Obama's free ACA for illegals the 20% of prisoners that are illegal locked up in jails, the welfare, the free schooling, on and on, we are spending and more importantly will be force to continue spending in the future, especially if TPTB get their way and the borders open up even more, than ANY wall...once built, it's done

Pay me now or pay me later. You can complicate this as you will, but the trend is to open borders. That is a worse alternative. Period.

A well publicized and credible change in policy, backed by action will cut those illegals to a trickle. As it was in the day.

But we are going off topic, here. The thread IS about Fox and it's relationship with the conservatives...Spat or split?

But you know how ludicrous your argument is? And by extension Trump's? A bigger wall? Hello, there's already a wall: miles and miles of desert and water and closely watched border and unfavorable laws and so on. And there're on the order of 7 to 13 million illegals in this country. About 60% of them are mexican, while the rest are mostly visa overstays. Do you really think a bigger wall is going to make a dent? The other poster is right, if you want to reduce the appeal of being an undocumented immigrant then you need to stop them from using bad numbers and the employers from not checking their employees thoroughly. The problem is illegals are good workers and DO pay taxes with bad numbers. How would we benefit by getting rid of them when they're a good chunk of our economy?

Personally, I say let them come. We have to figure out what we're going to do anyway. Machines and AI and the smaller and smaller world means low skill jobs are just not the way to go. Anybody displaced by cheap labor has nobody to blame except themselves.

Then YOU pay for the medical, then prison system with the 20% that are illegals, the schooling and social programs, not the rest of us.

The 'wall' is not finished, it isn't enforced and Obama, likewise Hillary would increase those numbers. Sorry, poll-wise, your in the vast minority and are merely making excuses, like the rest.

No one suggested the wall alone would fix the problem, but is sure would slow it down, big time. I will take that over the insanity that our gov't policy is now. Trump is certainly on the right track whether or not it pisses off the Corporations, the Unions, the Democrat party and the shills that call themselves conservatives in the Establishment arm of the GOP.

nwtrucker the poroblem is not rep nor dem, nor is it liberal vs cons. The problem is the corporates and their politicians have taken over our country and have control of both major political parties and are brain washing the masses into the dem vs rep and cons vs libs BS.

The problem is we are ruled by the corporations for the corporations, no more we the people!

No lib or con can save us from the corps, we have to do that by being informed and voting for representatives of the people, not by saying corps are people too ie citizens united. This problem can not be fixed by voting corporate politicians into any office, Trump is one of the corps!
