CharlieSpiers as far as I have been able to ascertain is the perfect example of what a British person is. Accepting of different peoples, open hearted to the plight of those more unfortunate than others and also honest about his true motives. I don't get what is wrong with his point of view.

I do not agree with all he says, at all but that is no reason to turn this thread into a Q&A on his motives, is it?

Some people are saying things that they shouldn't really say, more than that, implying things that they shouldn't imply.

Shame really, as Brits I am pretty sure we all want the best for us as a nation, and not to be used as pawns in some kind of game.

I bet he would defend you detractors a lot more than you would defend him, that is a bit of a shame really.

Of course until we have a referendum on what our taxes are spent on singularly instead of a collective having no say, you can always pretend your taxes go solely to the roads emergency services and NHS and welfare for the needy.
That's what I used to do.

In my mind I didn't pay a penny towards war or foreign aid to trillion dollar oil states.

Maybe those tattoo's are representative of his tribe and you are insulting his heritage by suggesting that.

The 30 or so buffoons in high vis and tit helmets managed to find gainful employment even though they have no beneficial qualities though.
