During my cobol days it was common to do less
than 100 lines a day due to compile-time and test run issues...my compiler does a million lines a
minute and ive got six monitor setup to spread
out my IDE i've also got another 7 monitor system
With four 4K and three 1080p displays for my testing ... Then add in the 400 AMD Firepro
Cards for stream processing (1.2 petaflops)
And we have got some SERIOUS horsepower!

I can easily do thousands of lines a day due
To the cut n paste and search n replace nature
Of the work....!!!

The rocket motors will ALSO be created using
hydroforming techniques. The size of the
hydraulic casting forms for the main
rocket tube and cargo pods are ENORMOUS

No idea whatsoever in terms of price per launch.
Since this is a non-profit venture at the moment
and much is being on on PRIVATE volunteer basis,
the only costs will be computer gear, material costs
and personal time and the Hydrogen and LOX (Liquid Oxygen)
which I understand they will be making themselves
using large scale hydrolisis and Stirling Engine cryo-cooling.

In terms of costs their biggest one will be electricity
to power the machines and fuel-creation systems
but since this is British Columbia which has LOTS
of CHEAP power, I don't think that will be
a problem.

You should see the SCALE of what is envisioned
in term of HUGE hydroforming dies and tooling.
I must admit through they are FAST!

The Gantry Launch System is a sight to behold.
A VERY UNIQUE DESIGN! Wait until you see it!

I am still waiting for the PDF file and because
of some personal time I will have to wait until
the morning to share the PDF file.

Do screenshots on ats...why doesnt ATS
allow pdf files..will do that this afternoon...

On my desktop system it does a normal
down load with no popups...but on mobiles
it Sends you to a videp download site
and then Downloads the pdf file..

Much Apologies....i didnt see that

Good cuz i virus checked it first but again

That link leads to something that auto launched some samsung sweepstakes page and then when downloaded says file corrupted. Nobodies going to go near that PDF unless you upload it in some safe way.

P.S. I should note that while they are using
my autonomous flight control software,
I am NOT otherwise involved in this
project. My only assistance to them
is to their graphics designer who I have
contacted to inform them of their earlier
PDF document spelling mistakes and to offer
some VERY BASIC graphics design advice
for creating web-friendly distributable PDF files.
(i.e. Make the document look like a
powerpoint presentation and
SIMPLIFY EVERYTHING!)

After all that... its got some good ideas.

Describing something is completely different to doing it but hey- in the era of people funding CubeSats to find none specific energy signatures that could be UFO's- this has lots going for it.

I absolute looooove the truck transportable
cable-stayed gantry launch system. It means this can be launched from almost any where for
Equatorial, polar and other orbit configurations.

As far as i know the computer simulations
have been run rather successfully
And they are doing a quarter scale mockup
Of the engine which in itself should equal
The F1 engine in thrust when tested.

It will be a sight to behold in that test..

Combustion chamber, nozzle throat
Flow and gas expulsion flow dynamics
Out of the nozzle are being refined and
selected via a huge computational fluid
and combustion dynamics simulation
Being done on a GPU cluster supercomputer
(1.2 petaflops) where HUNDREDS of
combustion chamber, throat and nozzle
shapes and sizes are going through a
computer simulated launch cycle to obtain
Min, Max, Average, Mean, Failure limits
And Normal operating ranges.

Fuel feed Temperature, fuel injection
pulse rates, fuel vaporization spread
and concentration, impeller speeds,
Gas flow stabilization via vane angling
in throat And nozzle, and many other
hydrodynamic and plasmadynamic
variables are being set and evaluated
to arrive at the most fuel efficient and
high powered configuration and sizing
that's possible which will be able to
Lift 800,000 POUNDS of payload not
just into low earth orbit but into
HIGH GEOSYNCHRONOUS orbits.
I.e. 22,000 miles up!

It looks like "The Galaxy Class" group
Is going for the full gusto on this project!

They are STILL suggesting that a quarter scale
Engine will ready for test firing by June or July
of this year 2016!

IMAGINE how powerful FOUR MILLION
Pounds of thrust is going to be!
No wonder the rocket is 55 feet
in diameter! It is gonna have to
Carry A LOT OF LOX AND H2 to
Get to 22,000 miles up...

They said they can lift 800,000 lbs
To not just Low Earth Orbit but
FULL GEOSYNCHRONOUS ORBIT!!!!

That is faaaaar better performance
than I could have ever imagined!

Sorry, but that presentation looks extremely unprofessional.

That combined tank doesn't make much sense. The temperature difference between LO2 and LH2 is about 70K. So you still would need insulation. The volume ratio is somewhere about 1:3, means most of this combined volume would be LH2, with a thin layer of LO2 around it, which is a very inefficient use of volume. In fact the reverse configuration is something that has been used, placing LO2 in the LH2 tank and saving on insulation.

Are you sure that actual scientists/engineers are involved, and not just some kids/amateurs having fun thinking up a hypothetical rocket?
