How very true!

I would add:

With our people represented, rather than our politicians representing the corporations, who knows how much good we could do for the world!

Tomorrow is the big day. Hopefully Bernie will crush it and put a nail in Hillary's coffin.

I still don't see why people on ATS can only be one thing or the other.

Here's what I mean. They talk about Bernie Sander socialist destroying the country and when you have conversation with them they go a little bananas and talk about how they want no federal government except a small military to defend our borders. They fail to realize that this then disqualifies every single candidate on either side including Rand Paul, but somehow all the hate is directed at Sanders. LOL

AGREE!!

What really peeves me is the con vs lib BS, people need to look at the corps the 1% vs the people.

That is the real world problem. rep vs dem is just a distraction.

I think someday we will be able to elect someone like Jill Stein.

Being in AK which is a red state, I am leaning heavily towards a vote for Dr Stein.

A third party vote would do more for change than just voting a D for Bernie in a state where the R's will obviously win.

I starred you for your optimism! I actually believe currently we still would be hog-tied by division and undecision. Refer to the dynamics of this election alone. Even my own family cannot agree, how can one believe that would transmute into good for the world. Corporations are being supported by voters in America and so politicians ARE representing that voter base. Remove corporations....the representatives will still represent those voters and ideas.

Corporate welfare

Glass Steagal

revolving doors

trade policies

These are a few of the things that have destroyed our middle class, these are examples of how corporate politics hurts the 99%.

As long as the 1%, the corps can buy the politicians their spot on the ballot we as a people will lose,

When workers have enough money to pay bills and save, they think differently than when they are between a rock and a hard place.

Retreating Clinton Campaign Torches Iowa Town To Slow Advance Of Sanders Volunteers

HUMBOLDT, IA—After making sure to douse every home, farm, and business located in the municipality with gasoline, retreating Clinton campaign staffers reportedly set the central Iowa town of Humboldt ablaze Friday to stem the advance of Bernie Sanders volunteers. “Once we received word the Sanders campaign had begun canvassing in nearby Fort Dodge, we only had a matter of hours to burn everything to the ground,” said communications director Jennifer Palmieri, who tossed a lit torch through the window of the town’s hardware store before rushing over to help a group of Hillary for America workers erect a roadblock made of dead livestock to prevent all entrance to and exit from the city. “With so little time left before voting day, we simply can’t allow them to establish a foothold in this part of the state. Besides, you can’t convince anyone to caucus for Bernie Sanders if the civilian population is gone and all that’s left is smoldering rubble.” At press time, Clinton campaign staffers were spotted rigging a nearby bridge with C-4 as they hastily retreated to Algona.

Bernie Sanders is 74. If he takes office he will be 75.
The average life expectancy of a White America Male is 76 (CDC 2012).

Maybe you should look up what other people have posted on Sanders here instead of focusing on what i'm saying.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

btw all i've added to this particular post was this, '''' Bernie Sanders is 74. If he takes office he will be 75.
The average life expectancy of a White America Male is 76 (CDC 2012). ''''
So why the fluttered feathers over my saying that?

I'll make it easy and paste what gladtobehere posted:

Sanders, like FDR, will further destroy America.
thehill.com...

Government intervention in our lives and the economy DOES NOT WORK. Even with the socialist's wet dream aka the EU collapsing before our eyes, they refuse to admit the error of their ways.

EVERY program government has ever touched has been a failure, from Healthcare to education to housing, causing bubbles and booms.

Sanders wanting to utterly destroy this nation with his failed socialist thinking and anti-2A agenda does not compensate for his 1 or 2 reasonable statements.

Study: Bernie Sanders's single-payer plan is almost twice as expensive as he says.
www.vox.com...

And, as to your Questions of why i'm here and what do i care.

I am here for the same reason you and everyone else is here on ATS. Information.
I don't really care, personally, but i do care about the Friends i have in America. It effects their lives, and i care about that.

Gosh that's so depressing. Or maybe I'm just too much of an optimist.

I believe good can prevail.

But a lot of it rests in our hands, no? As a people we can control the mechanism, should we decide to take the reins.

As I have been saying on the Trump threads.

Sanders or Trump are NEVER going to happen.

Because of the Electoral College unless you live in certain states most of your votes pretty much dont count.

TPTB will make sure its going to be Clinton II or Bush III or maybe Rubio or Cruz if they are feeling lenient.

The EC will NEVER let a present in that could be a reformer and derail the gravy train.

And anyone that’s thinks otherwise is just as naïve as the Trumpeters

Why is sanders considered an outsider? I think the establishment would rather have Hilary or jeb because of the pure evil and corruption, but ol Bernie proved be would step up for the big banks and establishment with the sanders amendment to the fed bill.

When "americerrr" needed sanders he did obozo and the banks bidding. He's just saying the same garbage obozo said to get in. Leftist would be saying the same thing if fauxcohantas warren ran because she uses all the stuff sanders says, even though she's another fed reserve sellout.

The only true outsiders I see are carson , trump and Paul.

your right, it is too good to be true. idk why people want socialized education it will become like the public school system that is known to underfunded and ineffective. also even with his corporate tax (witch will hurt the average American more then help them) it will no where near the amount of money needed to fund it. it will give us more debt. socialism bankrupts countries look at any socialist country in history it never works and in many cases leads to totalitarianism. my final point is that socialism is simply UN-american, it stands against what America represents. so in short socialism is bad mmmkay. sanders is just telling you what you want to here and is mind F###king you with the word "free"
