Hay Skid this sounds like what I have. I had a really bad bout of a virus back in hmmm October and had a hard time recovering. Lots of coughing and then the rib/ chest pain, thought I had beat it till I shoveled snow. Now it is excruciating.

I put cold pads on and take anti inflammatory, that has helped. Bugger all. Take Care.

Yeah, I think I messed mine up from coughing.

Chopping and carrying loads of wood didn't help. I'm still doing that even though it's hurting so bad. Nobody else will do it.

I can't carry my wood, fortunately I stocked up last week and some one is coming to bring some in Monday. It sucks I have to pay for it. But I hurt too much.
And I can't shovel snow.

Yeah I chop it, too. It pulls on my ribs and hurts like hell but oh well.

Paying for wood is better than having to go out in the woods and get it yourself. Well around here it is. We have to go up a steep mountain.
