The FFVII comet mentioned is what I thought of when I first saw the picture. I didn't realize how close a rendition nature whipped up til I read it in the source quote and decided to grab a pic. Here it is:

Just a plain ol' cloud? I'd say it's a pretty cool looking cloud. I don't think more than a fraction of a percentage of people think it's actually the "Hand of God" - folks are just having fun with a gorgeous cloud formation and its artsy name.

Wow that is so very beautiful!!! Whether it's the hand if God, or fire raining down, blah, blah, who cares. The point is that mother earth makes herself really known every once in a while, and this is what it looked like this time. Way awesome!!
