Because the term isn't Socialism it's Democratic Socialism which is Capitalism. It's not that hard.

Calling socialism capitalism by adding a "democratic" before socialism doesn't make socialism, capitalism.

That's funny. Calling a stabbing a happiness stabbing does not make a stabbing enjoyable.

Unless you're a socialist.

Considering there's several forms of Socialism and several forms of Democratic Socialism don't you think context might be important?

I agree that there are several forms of socialism and several forms of democratic socialism.

I must also state that there are several ways to stick a steel pin in your eye.

And each and every one of them is not good.

There lies the whole problem.

Nobody knows what the other "Socialists" want to do.

Confusionism 101.

The type of Socialism might be determined by how much they take.

Democratic socialists might only take 89%.

Bad socialists might want to take 90%.

If you're confused it's because you refuse to understand.

Socialism, with no caveats, in it's purest form is: worker ownership of the means of production. i.e. no investors, no loans, no capital, no owner (of business, your own personal, private property is fine), only labor.

Is this what Bernie is advocating? Nope, not even close. Do the Scandinavian countries have this kind of Socialism? Nope. They still have Capitalism, people still own businesses, invest and loan etc... Democratic Socialism models after the Scandinavian countries.

No. You're talking about a Capitalist company selling pints of ice-cream for $5 dollars that represent a Capitalist who wants to place tight restrictions on Capital.

Lmao! "tight restrictions". You guys just eat up more and more Big Government control. I just don't get it, but to each their own I guess.

But hey kali? After Bernie sinks the final sword into the ongoing bankruptcy of the United States of America, Dumb & Dumber will be charging 3 times as much a pint after the massive liberal loon induced inflation occurs.

Man, that is $15 dollars for a pint of ice cream! I mean really good ice cream, but come on now.

It's not really free...they give it away to some people, but the ones that work have to pay for it.

So what does it taste like?

I'm guessing that they just take about 50% out of all of the other pints, mix it together in one big batch, then redistribute it out so that all of the ice creams have a similar flavor...
