What about the civilian population living in those countries. Punish them for where they're stuck living?

A real quandary ..... But there is no such thing as ALL winners

Sometimes life sucks.

Discessions have to be made!

The lesser evil to the greatest good?

No, just stopping the flow of traffic they're using to the USA.

You think of it to easy. The internet is not some kind of fuse box.

It's not about killing their internet (which shouldn't be a big deal anyways), it's about shutting down traffic to the USA.

So are you talking about all traffic or just selective? If the latter, how to filter?

Your idea is just... not possible the way you think of it.
By the way, the USA is not the only country in the world...

Why not shut down internet in the usa only? Then you are safe. A real quandary, sometimes life sucks. I suppose the lesser evil would be shutting down your own ISPs. The lesser evil to the greater good.

I don't understand why youtube allows these videos either. They directly violate the T&C Community guidelines

Harmful or dangerous content

Don't post videos that encourage others to do things that might cause them to get badly hurt, especially kids. Videos showing such harmful or dangerous acts may get age-restricted or removed depending on their severity.

Violent or graphic content

It's not okay to post violent or gory content that's primarily intended to be shocking, sensational, or disrespectful. If posting graphic content in a news or documentary context, please be mindful to provide enough information to help people understand what's going on in the video. Don't encourage others to commit specific acts of violence.

www.youtube.com...

And as far as constitutional rights, You Tube censors MANY MANY submitted videos uploaded to their site. Just do a search "Youtube removed my video"

Many less harmful and graphic videos have been removed by YOU TUBE.

Good question!!
But then, YT is only one medium.

Yes, but lets face it. It's one of the most useful for these videos. Too much content to tweet, FB would remove the posts and/or close the account. There may be many avenues, but for the most part, they would lead to dead ends. You Tube should as well.

Also, since You Tube regularly pulls video for violations, they are already monitoring the uploaded content.

Community Guidelines Violations - Because YouTube is a private website run by a private corporation, they are not obligated to allow all forms of speech protected by the 1st Amendment, and can block any video which in their opinion violates the site's rules. Videos are usually removed for Community Guidelines violations when they are violent, pornographic, or "hate speech."

www.youtube.com...

Terminating internet use for other countries is a silly idea. You Tube has the ability to remove the offensive videos. They are the #1 source terrorists use in attempting to spread their filth. YT should be the one to remove videos that violate the T&C just as they currently do with other videos.

You´re still right and have a valid question. I never watched those videos so I trust your word they are to be found on YT. Of course I was not saying, "because they can be found elsewhere, they can stay on YT". That would be ridiculous

I have never watched one either. I don't have the stomach for it, which I am thankful for. I only know videos are pulled because I did the exact search I mentioned above and there are many examples listed to check out. I did not personally check out the videos which were pulled, I just know that they WERE pulled.

I have only one question: "Why doesn't You Tube step up and pull these offensive videos, filled with hate speech and graphic content?" It really is a no-brainer.

Me neither .... but I do occasionally watch as much as I can stomach.

Basically to be informed on what is actual/real. Otherwise I would be

ignorant as to what was going on.... and wouldn't credit it!

Like I said ^^^^^ above to be informed, and not be ignorant of

occurrences of the evil that is happening!

Don´t you contradict yourself with that statement? You say to be informed but are you really informed if you just heard about that video? Isn´t it kind of ignorant to say that?

That is a terrible idea. However, Youtube pulls videos all the time for copywrite infringement, they could certainly pull pro-ISIS videos. Twitter could get on accounts that promote terrorism.
