Well, as a matter of fact, he does plan on dipping his toes in the Arctic Ocean.

Crazy redneck Canuck is what he is.

So while you and I are down here cursing at every scoop of snow we have to toss from our shovels, some crazy canuckian (my crazy canuckian) is taking a dip in the fricken ice floes !

LOL

Just thought I'd share a pic or two of the snow here.
They (NWS) says we got 7-8 inches...I'll take their word for it. My youngest certainly did enjoy an attempt at a snowman (fail).
A lot of it blowed around/away yesterday.
It is currently 13 degrees but, the sun is coming out and it is predicted to be around 38 degrees or so...
The first pic was an attempt to catch a beautiful "Woody" woodpecker on the tree but, he got out of there as soon as I opened the door! He was huge!

I love to see thee snow/ice on the trees, it is so pretty. Even though I hate snow/winter, I can appreciate the beauty of it!

Where we live currently backs up to a sort of wetland/protected area...swamp...the trees are pitiful!

We only see snow about once every 10 years in Houston. I would LOVE to see some of the white stuff down here, just spare 2 inches and this town would be really excited.

Ugh, I would KILL to have snow up to my knees, but you'll never see that in Florida.

It's thankfully not that high lol. That is a good idea if the power goes out. I've actually done it.

I know. My uncle lives there and teases everyone not lucky enough to be in a practically snow free zone.

The horror of it all. I hope you have plenty of scotch and a mohair bro to keep you warm.

Augustus is spooning with his 21 year old single malt bottle of Balvenie as we speak.

Cool photo's in this thread!

My work closed yesterday.

We got almost 2 feet, but the snow drifts are up to the chest in some areas.

It sounds like you're stuck for a while unless it got cleared. I hope you have plenty of supplies.
