No, no, I wasn't joking. It happened to a friend of mine who barely managed to save her vision. Don't do it 'tomorrow', do it today.

Funny - Back when I read Vallee's books, I fell in love with him too!!

In fact, in at least three threads on ATS where Vallee was being discussed, I did posts within which I referred to myself as his "number one fangirl"...

Shall we fight over the title?

I 'third' the motion - get the eye checked a.s.a.p...

That kind of thing can have a 'point of no return' - best to nip it in the bud.

I'm only on chapter 3, so you retain the title...for now.

Yeah, yeah... the concern is lovely, sweet and, of course, appreciated. I got uppity and shared a tad too much online... stupid, heh.

I used to laugh at the curmudgeons who refused routine exams and basic medical care, and then expired from easily avoided maladies... now, older, I get it.

And yeah, eyesight is rather important for info addicted paupers. Dogs aren't great at reading ATS or The Guardian...

and Vallee could have my children, too, heh (especially if he took care of them!!)

No, not stupid but don't then not expect to be nagged by your online friends. Wheesht just, and get on with it.

I don't think I've a got a Pete Murphy thing for Vallee, more of a 'it would be good to fall asleep on him while he reads me some stories in his French voice' thing but who knows? Life's short, I say, and if a Vallee opportunity should ever arise who am I to say no?

He'd be a great AMA here, I can only assume it's been suggested before.

Anyway the moral of this story is dogs are crap at reading, so yes, get eyes checked in the next 72 hrs. Oh and happy Beltane to everyone!

Dr. Vallee dislikes the great majority of the Internet which is ironic as he truly was one of the father's of it. (all the lies and distortion you know).

I wouldn't hold my breath on an AMA.

Ah... yes... Happy Beltane!

(especially 'cause one never, EVER wants to p-off a Witch! heh)

p.s. and thinking of an AMA here, with Vallee, makes me wince with embarrassment... as any unwashed gaggle groping at such an intellect would!

No, it's probably wise on his part. He would be a great guest though. I'd probably blurt out 'Jacques! What are you doing on Friday night?' only to have those words immortalised forever and no second chance for redemption.

Nah, but you could be, I suppose... me, too, for that matter... or rather a Warlock, due to dangley bits.

Just Witches, in general and in all flavors, is what I meant!

Is it karma or something?
I always come into this thread when Baddogma is mentioning his umentionables.

Makes me forget what I was going to write, every time!

OMG!

You have a built-in homing beacon for BD's dangly bits (at least the discussion
thereof)!

So how are you Ferret Wench?

I'm still waiting for you to spend more time "at home" with us where
you belong.

BTW, I saw this book title and thought about you:

The Messengers: Owls, Synchronicity and the UFO Abductee Kindle Edition by Mike Clelland (Author), Richard Dolan (Foreword) 4.5 out of 5 stars 43 customer reviews

So the part about Owls and UFOs in the title sold me, so I bought it.
I have no idea if it's any good.

But couldn't let that pass.

I really do, don't I?

I've been busy with other threads, saw that this one was active and decided to boogie back in for a while.
My timing is...awesome.

I just found another white feather. I find them on occasion, where there should be no feather.
I always feel like it's a message from someone who has passed on.
Any input?

Dangly bits. I rather like that...sounds very British.

Ooh, you added some. Flaming Ferret Wench is fffffffine...hehe...actually meeting up secretly with Mr. Dangley Bits in another thread...that's why I've been AWOL. I'm getting so irritated at some people there though, that I'm actually writing a bloody murder story, just to purge my anger!

How are you Sherman?

Dare I ask where you find them? (the feathers that is?)

I'm normally not a dirty minded person.. being a part-time failed holy man you know.

But you bring it out of me!

How does one forget about being a banshee of death?

I swear, that one almost has me giggling.
