Oregon Militia - Jewish?

Well here's something I don't think has been observed yet on the site. (According to the search engine anyway.)



The Oregon militia have been blowing some battle trumpets in a 'Christian' call to arms:

But here's the weird thing, those battle trumpets?

Those are Shofars.

So are they knowingly utilising Jewish religious objects in their Christian call to arms? Or are they just unaware and somebody had these cool horns laying around so they thought they'd use them without realising what they were?

The thing is, the underlying issue is serious.

Government Management of Western Lands

The federal government was to dispose of that land (50% is held by the federal government and not well cared for), it was to be settled, not kept.

All these distractions make it sound like it's a local argument about cow droppings.
