My thoughts exactly! The First Amendment is in definite jeopardy if this buffoon ever gets to Washington. Lets make sure he doesn't when its time to vote.

a reply to: [post=20388868] andyo6shake---------BTW, Donald Trump has now reached a whole new level of ignorance as well as lacking knowledge and understanding of even the most basic of issues. He doesn't even know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid! Will wonders never cease?

according to an analysis by the Washington Examiner

I'm guessing this Washington examiner has no ties what so ever to the campaign of Hillary Clinton and is a completely unbiased, reliable, honest and upstanding member of washington dc?

in that case.. ok - you should worry.

but most probably, you should understand its a total load of bull plop

I'm with you, macman. You're the kind of hard worker that built this country from the ground up and I commend your excellent work ethic.

To destroy the enterprising spirit and incentive of folks like you through excessive taxes and income redistribution goes against the very fabric of what America is suppose to be all about.

It is time to burn away the "Bern" and let those willing to work hard keep more of what they earn for themselves and their families! Giving it all away to others in a crushing brand of socialism just doesn't work here and it never will.

Perhaps worst of all is the fact that Sanders will cause the national debt to rise to the point that it will take decades to pay it down and the burden of doing so will fall upon our children and grand children for many many years to come!

Yes folks, you are reading that correctly. 19.6 Trillion Dollars in Taxes in the next decade are proposed by Mr Sanders to 'pay' for his agenda. He is not dicussing how to balance the budget but how he will try to rob from the rich to give away free things. Free Healthcare(but you and your employer are taxed) and free college tuition and so on and so on. Socialism for ALL!!!!

www.washingtonexaminer.com...

Taken together, Sanders is proposing $19.6 trillion in new taxes over a decade, according to an analysis by the Washington Examiner, of which $14 trillion would come from his healthcare plan alone. To put that in perspective, the Congressional Budget Office projects that federal revenues over the next 10 years will be a total of $41.6 trillion, meaning that Sanders would raise taxes by 47 percent over current levels

The main part of this idea is a 'tax' for businesses that would be used to 'partially' pay for his Medicare based Single payer health coverage. There is also a tax to use the worker. He is also for ending tax breaks on those same employers who provide healthcare...uh...what?

Hey, he also wants to raise the FSOC limit so we can pay MORE taxes....oh, and another tax to finance mandatory family leave. HE wants to tax oil companies at a time when gas is about a buck also.

First it was just leaving you change from your paycheck...now it is going to Bern a hole in it and nothing will be left.

Well currently Healthcare costs Americans 3 Trillion a year, so if we do the maths, we shell out $30 T a year just for healthcare.

It certainly isn't sustainable. Just passing on the crushing debt Sanders policies will cause onto the millennials who support him as well as passing same on to their children and grand children. Not to mention all the unemployment that will result from a cratering of corporate earnings and the lay offs and job loss when companies and businessmen who do the hiring have to cut back in order to keep going!

Bernie you just don't get it. You're actually going to HURT the folks you think you're going to help the most!

I agree with a couple of things that Bernie has stated. Audit the Fed is one thing. That's about it......

I'm with you on auditing the Fed. They need to be audited for sure. As for the rest of what Bernie wants, you already know how I feel about all that!

It's beginning to look like Sanders has or soon will be in a position to really challenge for the Democratic Party presidential nomination. But Hillary isn't a much better alternative and her tax proposals are nearly as excessive as Sander's. Any which way you look at it you lose with these two.

To place the blame for the sad state of our current poorly managed and now under funded social security system on an entire generation of Americans doesn't make much sense to me. It is foolish government spending, fraud, and waste that has depleted the money in the social security fund due to the constant raiding of these funds in an effort by our bloated government to borrow from Peter to pay Paul!

And why shouldn't a person who has achieved financial success be able to expect his government to keep its sacred trust to him and pay out the social security benefits this person has worked to earn during his life time? Should someone be penalized or punished for wealth he has earned by the sweat of his own brow? This individual paid his taxes and helped fund the system and deserves his social security benefits from the government just as much as anyone else who paid into the system. The Equal Protection Clause of the United States Constitution requires nothing less! Our founding fathers were wealthy New England merchants themselves. What's wrong with being financially successful ? Its not a crime you know!
