I agree that the Affordable Care Act is insane. It has been proven to be anything but affordable, and often results in patients having to give up doctors they trust and wanted to to continue seeing. This despite assurances they could keep the doctor of their choice. The Affordable Care Act must be replaced with a better, more affordable ,and equitable plan. You may be sure Obama isn't going to replace it, and neither will Hillary Clinton, who will try to preserve the Obama legacy. If she is elected, we simply get four more years of the president's failed policies rather than the change in direction the country so desperately needs.

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”

― Margaret Thatcher

You mean the 1% that currently have 50% of the worlds wealth in hand? I think they can still have mansions and airplains an swiming pools if they lose a couple hundred billion and still live a extremely extravagant life while the current dirt poor people around the globe can be happy with a simple meal a day because of it.

Besides that money does not just burn up in the air or get expelled out of the atmosphere and into space.

Also..Margareth thatcher..

I want to get the war with Isis over and done asap,

Join up, and help it along?

and what I have proposed is what I think would be the most expeditious way to accomplish that goal.

I'm not familiar with your suggestion, perhaps you could PM it to me..

This is a war we must win and we didn't start it!

Why must we win it? And you're right: We, the american people didn't start it... the dumbasses we elected to political office did.

To accomplish same, we have no choice but to bolster our military and that costs money. There are no free lunches, and the price of freedom has always been high.

What an absolute load of tosh... There is absolutely NO reason for us to be over there, no reason to spend more money on being there. Our freedom is not at stake, it is not threatened. Are you really so deluded that you think we've been over there for over a decade fighting for our freedom?

There are many who agree.

It is possible for large numbers of people to be wrong... just look at modern feminism... or, like, Obama supporters..

I'm sorry you choose to see things differently but that is your right as a free thinking American citizen.

Choose to see things differently? As in you're sorry i acknowledge and embrace reality? There is what is, and there is what is not...it really is that simple.

The discussion about Christie, in my opinion, should focus on his excellent record fighting and prosecuting terrorists

He didn't fight anyone. What terrorists has he prosecuted?

And yeah, let's COMPLETELY ignore everything he's done wrong, and only focus on what he's done right... seems legit. Participation trophies for everyone, AMIRITE?

together with the executive experience he gained while dealing with the serious problems of an important state.

Such as? and when did jersey become important?

These are skills he could bring to the White House.

Along with all his other bad habits... no thanks.

I see there are many things you don't like about Governor Christie but his potential skills as a presidential candidate cannot be minimized.

What kind of doublethink is this? If he's a lousy governor, then he'd be a horrible president. Running a country is WAY harder than running a state, and he's not done a very good job on the small scale deal... again, no thanks.

I maintain that Isis must absolutely be defeated first,

Why?

and the battle must be taken to where they live before they bring the battle here to where we live!

Bollocks. If we are properly defending the country, then there is no way for them to get in, and "bring the battle here to where we live". If our dumbass politicians hadn't, for decades, been meddling in the internal affairs of foreign nations, and intervening militarily, every time a country does something they don't like, we wouldn't be pretty much the most hated nation on earth.

Don't forget that Isis wants to kill Americans and they declared war on us. Not the other way around.

-sigh- Today it's ISIS. Yesterday, it was Al Qaeda. And the day before that, it was the Taliban. I wonder who it will be tomorrow.

Point is, if we keep feeding the trolls, there isn't gonna be a country left to defend, because we will have neglected it to death.

Remember 9/11 ? It can happen again! Remember San Bernadino, Ca.? It has already happened but on a smaller scale. Remember Paris, France ? That could easily happen here too!

Stay safe!

It's your right to not like Chris Cristie and you gave your reasons which I respect since you live there. But his record fighting and prosecuting terrorists and his executive experience as governor of a difficult and complex state are valid qualifications for the White House whether you agree or not. It really makes little difference now anyway as Christie did not do well in the Iowa caucus last night and he may not be able to stay in the race much longer.

I remember 9/11 better than you imagine. If we are properly defending the nation, how, pray-tell, would it happen again?

Remember San Bernadino, Ca.? It has already happened but on a smaller scale.

This statement doesn't make any sense at all....

Remember Paris, France ? That could easily happen here too!

given how hard the politicians have made it for us to exercise our 2nd amendment rights, coupled with the fact that the nation isn't being properly defended, i completely agree.

Stay safe!

If you seriously believe that ANYTHING we're doing over in the middle east is keeping this country safe, boy do i have a deal for you... a bridge, barely used, great condition, fair pricing...

So instead of actually backing up your argument with facts, answering requests for substantiating information, and actually making an intelligent case, you choose simply to repeat that which you have already said, only with slightly different wording...

Seems Legit.

I really do hope you stay safe. Just remember that the facts you choose to ignore are often the ones that can cause the most problems. All the best going forward!

I can't ignore what you failed to state. So again, instead of backing up your argument with substantive information, you're simply going to repeat yourself, and then run away when called on it?

Seems Legit.

You are, in a word: Mental.

You make assertions, provide nothing to substantiate them, when asked to provide examples, you dodge, and simply repeat the same unsubstantiated claims. Then you duck out of the conversation when called on it. Oh, and let's not forget how you insist that, despite you utter lack of substantive information, you know better than a resident of the state in question..

Poor credibility, poor conversational skills, poor debating skills... why should ANYONE take ANYTHING you say seriously?

So yes, by failing to make a solid case for your claims, and running away, you have essentially conceded, and i accepted.

Take care now, bye-bye then.

Margaret Thatcher was a very brilliant lady and a great world leader in the 1980's. One of Great Britain's finest. She was so right when she referred to socialism as a failed system by asking what happens when you run out of spending other people's money. Bernie Sanders is surely going to spend other people's money so fast that it will "Bern" a hole in all of our pockets if he should ever become president.

Sure you are.... and i'm an astronaut.

A real lawyer would have made a better argument, and actually backed up their claims. Nice try.

I don't appreciate that comment on a public blog.

And i don't appreciate you being intellectually dishonest, and half-assing all your arguments.

You're clearly a troll, who's only goal is to stir up s**t, and bitch about how awful you think Sanders is, regardless of whether or not it anything to do with the content of the post you're responding to.

It better be goodbye!!
Naah.

However, this thread is about Sanders, not you, so yeah, i think we're done. Our posts back and forth, will show everyone what they need to know about you, and your credibility. I'm not wasting anymore time on you....at least not in this thread, anyway.
