I do believe you are serious. I hope you can believe that I am also. I would like to help you with a simple suggestion.
Begin in the morning, make camp at dusk and have a lite meal. When you get to it,hammer away.
By morning you may know enough to either leave, or give it another day. Break camp and head on back and let us all know.
Or if you are not quite ready, spend the day and another night in your communion. Take as long as you feel you need.
I hope Hesheitthisthatwhateveritmaycallitselfinthismoment hears you.

And rituals have always been productive in speaking with God... right?

Always?

I don't know about that, but they do serve to focus the mind, body and spirit on a single point. This is most useful when seeking clarity.

lthough these types of experiences usually don't lend themselves to words very well.

And there is a lot of the rub. Somehow our languages fall short of us and the wonderment of those moments become lost in a sea of print.

That's a cool thing to do. Even if you don't get answers youre looking for you'll still have all the benefits of being alone surrounded by nature.

Have fun!

I envy you in your journey.

I recommend you start off the talk with a few "thank you fors..." take a deep breath and talk until you're hoarse. Put your heart soul, heck put my heart into your chat with our Creator! And God probably doesn't like being called an "it" ? (i could be wrong).

Please be sure to enjoy the ascention as well as the descent.

Be well, be safe, believe.

I am praying for your safety and that God shows himself to you. Keep in mind that he doesn't always answer in our time and so keep watch over your life and be aware of how he may be answering your questions but not in the way you thought they should be. Take care and I hope you can find peace and answers.

Make sure you let someone know which mountain.
I used to just drive up Cypress Mtn and look at the view. Driving is safer....

"Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

My heart is so happy for you! I expect it will be an amazing and inspiring journey on many many levels. Whatever you find on your way, treasure every moment. I wish you the brightest of blessings.

But please do be careful and take precautions... and please consider ascending during daylight. It's so much safer -- and so much more opportunity to appreciate and immerse yourself in God's wonder and creation. It may actually help in your endeavor. Just a thought.

I look forward to reading about your experiences

Don't you call me crazy, my last thread got so much appreciation and one person even asked me if I would be their president

So if I am crazy then ALL OF YOU are crazy okay.

Usually, a non-crazy person doesn't need to pronounce their non-craziness before they begin explaining their position.

As for your superior divine adventure. I hope it's Mt. Olympus, because that's the only mountain that I recall there to be gods on the top of.

Here are the coordinates, a gift from me (a person who is also a 'non-crazy')

40°05′08″N 22°21′31″E
