This is a very weird story.

For one, Taharrush means "harassment" in Arabic and refers to men pestering women (particularly Western) in the way that anyone who has been to North Africa or the ME will recognise.

Of course, Taharrush is disgraceful - there there is no evidence whatsoever of this being a game of any kind. That seems to be an outright fabrication. Also, those videos are from North Africa, not Germany as presented.

The thing that confuses me about this story is why people feel the need to mislead about it. The actual events in Europe were disgusting enough to change the mood over migrants without having to dress it up any.

I thank you for bringing this to the forefront where we all could be made aware...Sometimes it is hard to hear or see the truth but we are better and stronger when we look all the ugliness in the face and decide we will not take this! I had heard about this and believed it then but hadn't found the time to actually look at the footage...I guess i didn't want to as most of us don't like looking at such evil in the world. But i am very glad I did and that so many others have seen it as well...The only thing that upset me other than these cretins are the people on ATS that question if this really happened.

The rapes highlighted in this thread didn't happen in Germany nor Switzerland as is the title this thread, they occurred in Egypt which like India has a very bad culture against females and their rights.

They are Egyptians which the OP is inferring are Muslims out of ignorance. Egyptians that actually follow Islam rules (prayer) account for 53% of the Egyptian population. Out of ignorance one could also say that the 293,066 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault that occur in US each year was done by Christian Anglo Saxons.

There is no room for rapist nor racism in the modern world. Only love for one another can make our world shine.

EVERYTHING that can be exaggerated will be, as far as people are concerned, Germany is in North Africa.

I'd say that you've posted two videos and that without any context it's very hard to tell what they show.

In the first video I can hear a woman scream and we see her being dragged or pushed into the subway station. I do not see any proof of rape, but it is clear that the woman is in distress. If you do some investigation you'll soon find out that this might be a recording of the assault on a Dutch journalist in 2013, in Egypt.

The second video shows a blond woman amidst a bunch of young men. It is totally unclear if this woman is being raped or not, the camera is constantly moving and there is no sound. For all I know, this is simply the girlfriend of one of those boys (yes, it happens). And it is unclear where this video was shot.

So, what do we have here?

An old clip made during the protests in Egypt in 2013. And a clip showing a blond woman amongst a group of men.

The rest is suggestion.

And it has NOTHING to do with Germany or Switzerland, let alone there'd be "gangs" here.

I think there are videos circulating showing what happened in Tahir Square, Egypt in 2011. I havent looked at the videos because things like that really play on my mind.

However, the point of circulating these videos is to show the game that is played in muslim countries and to give some idea of what has been happening here in Europe.

t said yesterday that news is now coming out from Germany that at a Welcome Party for refugees last year there were similar events and women were sexually harrassed by groups. It was never reported to Police and now there is a lot of anger because Police say if they had known abiut these kind of allegations it could have perhaps been acted on sooner.

I agree, but the kit may only damage one. Seems too many misfits in the video who are kinda like rabid dogs and would disregard the injured one and walk all over him. Screaming AIDS, AIDS would not help. Perhaps a Glock or something similar may give the possibility of release if you were trained (16 rounds) then another magazine.

I feel sure after a few dropped and the sound would make the cowards run. Just be sure you are trained to retain your glock and have at least 2 spare mags. (16, 15 15). Keep shooting when they run away, get a couple in the back.

From one woman to another I feel your pain and I think you are very brave. Dont know what Swiss justice system is like but if its anything like UK justice system the bastards could quite possibly be walking the streets again in 4-10 years time.

Nobody seems to see that all that is happening here in germany since the last bigger Paris terror attacks.
Terror attacks with terrorists that all have been known by the "security agencies", accidental, again.
They could travel through whole europe while "security agencies" allegedly were searching for them.
Then, after the attacks happened, despite all that mass surveillance, what happened to the freedom in france?
It`s still state of emergency there, police or whoever government forces can raid your house, can arrest french people without trials, etc.

And if someone hit a button at this time, suddenly in germany started the chaos, terror false alarms, fearmongering via mass media. But it seems that wasn´t enough to bring the german citizens into line. So something harsher had to happen.

Then happened the NYE events, right in front of the eyes of the city- and the federal police. Which did nothing than lying after all that, several times. Then to yell at victims and push them back into the crowd they flew from. No 24hours later all the BigBrothers demanded more mass surveillance, harsher laws(for all germans!), more police and a harsher justice. Again, for ALL german people!

Seeing that somehow crowds of those suspects had to organize themselves or be organized by someone else(it happened not only in Cologne!), seeing that the police did nothing(but knowing how they would act if we, german/cologne citizens, would do a party outside with 300 people, not declared to the officials...), seeing all the responsible officials lying and turning the story into something they will profit from, i really ask:

Isn´t it possible that all that was staged, because something had to happen, to turn the minds of the german majority? At least they let happen all that!

Merkel invited the world, and now the officials can´t stop the flood of refugees, created by the "democracy bringing" US "interventions" in the world. So something had to happen here, that the people will be ok with the rules that will be implemented now, firstly against the visitors some germans invited, harsher immigration rules. Shabby to do that by this insidious way! But to tell the truth to the people is never an option for the rulers!

The only one who profits now from all that is the "rulers", again. As in many of our other "fellow western friendly nations", like France, for example.
We will see more cameras in future here, filming all of us, harsher laws, more police and guaranteed more internet surveillance. For ALL german citizens. Is that the reason for the police to do nothing, to let all that happen, and the later lying about the arrested people, about when they became aware of the events, about the number of the suspects, about the origin of the suspects and what else. Is it the reason for the politicians to make only the police guilty, for the failures of the politicians over the last one, two decades?

Is it maybe just another step towards 1984(1933?), combined with growing nationalism???

As a lurker I do find it odd the mods have not helped the situation by allowing the OP to show videos and pass them off as happening in Germany.
