"Whoever the hell brought this mic system, don't pay the son of the b**ch," Trump said, stating, "This mic is terrible. Stupid mic!"

"Do you hear that George? Don't pay him! Don't pay him. You know, I believe in paying, but when somebody does a bad job like this stupid mic, you shouldn't pay the bastard. Terrible. Terrible."

This is just not presidential or acceptable. Can you imagine for one second if Obama went on a tirade like this against someone that was working for him, publicly humiliating him? Trump supporters would be out in force condemning him for it.

Yet here we are people making excuses for this, its hypocritical in my opinion and shows the glaring double standard flaw in Trump supporters.

There is no way that this man will be able to conduct himself in foreign affairs with behavior like this, and if he talks to his people like this in the white house? Can you imagine if he tried to talk like that to one of our longstanding military leaders or Joint Chiefs?

You might get away with things like that in your "business" where money gets you everything you want, but when your president talking to leaders who have been in their position much longer than you have, that is not going to work

This man is a tyrant plain and simple, a spoiled tyrant.

Being a business owner myself , even at my level I can tell you that you DO NOT reprimand your employees in front of people, thats one of the first rules.

This man has no respect for anyone.

Thoughts are welcome and I expect the onslaught as my first thread

He has said worse. His poll numbers were closing so he needed the bump.

All I can do is shake my head with head in hand at this point.

As your first thread, I say GREAT WORK! Paragraphing/spacing, easy to read, links work, noteworthy topic... S & F AlienSupernova!

And as for Trump? Way to make yourself look like an even bigger idiot/loose cannon/greedy bastard.

"Don't pay him, don't pay the guy..." just like when he came to Vermont and unruly protesters were kicked out of his rally, where Trump said "No, don't give him his coat. It's freezing outside. Mail it to him in a few weeks"

He's making a habit of this. Thinking because he has money he can treat us "peasants" like trash.

Youre right, its not the first time he has failed to articulate himself at a level higher than a 16yr old from the Bronx

I just wish people could see this for what it is, im so confused at how many supporters he has , that were adamantly against Obama yet this man displays the same characteristics.

Hes also proven that he will flip flop on anything depending on which way the polls are going, how can anyone trust him?

Not 3 months ago he was talking highly of Ted Cruz and how his eligibility was in no way in question "all the top lawyers have looked at this, hes qualified" and now since Cruz is gaining on him hes flipped around.

Its one thing to change tactics to start going after your closest competitor, but to totally change what you said before? Come on, its plain as day.

And its not the first time by any means, or with his ideas on policies.

One thing is for sure, he prides himself on being a salesman, and just like a good salesman his supporters are buying his snake oil.

Good Job Trump youre every bit the salesman you claim to be

As bad as you might think this is, you should be aware of what and how LBJ talked and dealt with people and Congress before and during his stent as President.

Also something to think about here (as much as you probably don't want to hear it) one of the things that makes Trump popular is his unapologetic lack of being "PC". So like it or not it sounds like somebody did a poor job with equipment, and instead of apologizing for it, he took the time to state the core nature of this issue.

AND BEFORE ANYONE CALLS ME A TRUMP FAN, I think his politics suck, but if you look at him as an 80's business guy (which is what he is) he's not so bad.

Can you name one president that hasn't talked or acted like this?

At this point, Trump could accidentally fart on stage and people would drop their jaws, point, and scream "That's not presidential!"

You have obviously forgotten why Trump is so popular. These threads are beginning to wreak of desperation. What's next, he's too old?

Im not sure LBJ is the greatest example of how a president should be

There is a huge difference between being PC, and just being a jerk with an ego issue. There are plenty of people I know who arent PC at all, but know how to convey their message with tact.

I think this is why he resonates with the lowest common denominator, they dont know the difference.

But this isnt the 80s and this is the highest office in the land, not a backroom deal at a swanky casino penthouse.

I wonder how much this will boost his numbers.

All he wants is people talking about it (that includes making threads about it.) As soon as everyone stops being so shocked and offended he would disappear back into relative obscurity.

Don't feed the trolls, as they say.

Until then, he's going to continue to gain support from people who like the idea of non PC, anti government politicians who won't tow the line. The more against the tide he goes, the better he starts to look to the alienated.

Our government is a circus

Yes Many many of them actually, and many of the candidates on the Right arent acting like this and are not only NOT pc they convey their message tactfully and fully. And Im not even VOTING for any of them and I can see that.

Cruz is gaining on Trump and in no way has he represented himself in this fashion

Theres nothing desperate about this thread, there needs not be any desperation when the candidate is so disparaging in his every day antics

Bull#. You couldn't even murmur a different idea from obama without being called a racist. And now look, you can't even murmur an agreement about Trump without being called a racist. Not in this thread yet, but on nearly every other Trump thread, his supporters are called racists. So please, don't compare him to Obama, they're nothing alike.

One thing is for sure. If Obama has said the exact same thing, most here would be screaming about what a tyrant "dear leader" is, and comparing him to Kim Jong Un. But for some unknown reason, when the Donald Duck says it, it's cool.

It's a total enigma to me...

Respect. That is what you are on about? That this man doesn't respect anybody?

And I tell you that is just what we need, someone in the white house who doesn't kowtow to everyone around them, but offers respect only to those who are deserving of respect, and have earned it. Simply being a politician or a leader of a country doesn't make you deserving of respect, if it did, Obama would be respectful of Assad.

I will also let you in on a little secret, my boss is much like trump in this way, and mine takes it from me as much as he can dish it out, because it is a relationship based on mutual respect, its just one that we speak to each other how we feel, and sometimes make apologies later for what we said in haste. A very close relationship, longstanding and born of mutual respect, is actually what creates the ability to speak to one another this way. Not everyone holds their pinky finger up when they sip their tea. Some are just a little more brash than others.

If? So you have absolutely no idea. Just spouting meaningless opinions and acting like you know it all because you despise Trump. Got it.

We can only imagine what would happen to government incompetence if he gets elected !!!

"Fire all the meatheads !!"

Hmmmm. Maybe the Obama.Care internet exchanges would have actually worked !!

I'm not a fan by far, but I believe lots of Presidents have been meth addicts. We know even JFK was. Let's cut him some slack. He's on the campaign trail, a little psychosis from long term abuse is to be expected.

I mean, I'm assuming he's a meth addict because the only people I know of who have such outbursts have been.
